So You Think You Can Dance alum Stephen Boss, the dancer currently known as tWitch, will star in Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming. That makes sense; if there’s going to be a Stomp the Yard 2, tWitch should definitely be in it. Get this though: he’ll be playing “Taz, the antagonist.” What??? I feel like tWitch has never even been the antagonist in an argument against himself about which smirk goes best with which glasses. The most rage he’s ever shown, to our knowledge, was the first and third times he slammed the door on Katee during season 4’s “Mercy” door dance, choreographed by Mmmmmmmmia Michaels (embedded below). Who knows, maybe a bit of sweet guy-playing-villain intrigue will get people to see the movie. Would you want to see this good guy go bad?
FYI: Twitch’s website has sections called “Secret Lair” and “Blog It Out” (though he has yet to blog it out), and under “Superpowers,” it says “Ability to bring it!”

Twitch is a total PHONEY!!! The whold season he was on SYTYCD they kept taking about how he was a hip hop guy doing all this other stuff. Yeah…he’s in Hairspray. We all know what a hardcore gangsta street style movie that was right? FAAAAAKE!
And yes….he was in Hairspray BEFORE SYTYCD. I don’t care if the dude was trained, but he shouldn’t have let them portray him as some street dancer who only knew hip hop.
You mean like the winner Joshua did? They totally promoted him as as straight street dancer, but then we later found out that he did have formal training. You really think the contestants have that much say in how the producers portray them? Yeah right.
How ridiculous do you sound like it’s his fault they portrayed as a hip hop dancer with limited training. What you fail to realize people like Twitch are not as classically trained as the rest of them were. Yeah Twitch is fake and your an IDIOT!!!
they didn’t portray him as someone that only knew hiphop – but they did focus on the fact that that was his chosen genre. And nothing changes the fact that he’s an amazing dancer.
I love twitch! This role will give him some more exposure and he’s an amazing dancer with great personality. I know he’s got a scowl or two in there for this
Love Twitch! Poor guy got 2nd place on TWO dance shows and now he’s going to place 2nd in this movie. You know the bad guy never wins. Oh well, love Twitch and I’m glad to see he’s getting some great work after the show.
