It’s true, Miley lovers: Hannah Montana is a Twitter Quitter. According to People, Cyrus has apparently deleted her page at the behest of her Last Song co-star and rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The farewell tweet? “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason,” the teen superstar wrote today. Now, the page is naught but a dead, empty link.
Apparently, there can be no party in the U.S.A. without her; #mileycomeback is currently Twitter’s top trending topic. What do you think, PopWatchers — good twittance to Cyrus, or will you miss her missives? At least her spelling beat Frances Bean Cobain’s.

Agreed. I could care less about Twitter, or Miley Cyrus, but that’s a terrible reason to stop tweeting.. because your boyfriend doesn’t have an account and doesn’t want you to have one either? I know she’s not the best female role model, but come on.
That was my first thought…next he’ll be making her give up her friends, alienating her from her family, and running her life (Elvis had the Colonel, Britney had Sam Lutfi, and Miley has Liam). This is how abusive and controlling relationships start BTW. Mark my words

I have a teenage daughter and it seems like none of her friends use twitter. I don’t think it’s popular with teens. They are still into facebook.
Now if we could only get her to quit the music and acting biz, the world will a better place for it.

As for twitter, maybe he saw that a lot of young (and some old) celebs have fallen into a whole and put their foot into their mouths with twitter. Maybe it’s protecting her. Otherwise tsk tsk!

I do not follow Miley on Twitter. Twitter is a great outlet for entertainers to stay connected to their fans. What gets me more is that her Mom cancelled her own Twitter account because of this “reason” also. She is already at a career point of “transition” & disappointing the fans she has left to make some flavor of the moment boyfriend happy is NOT A GOOD MOVE! p.s. I pray that I don’t see Miley in the Sex and the City movie.

Twitter isn’t that bad if used sparingly. If Miley didn’t feel compelled to share her private thoughts a hundred times a day, her BF probably wouldn’t have “good reason” for her to shut it down.
