I’m not crazy about the kid. He’s been annoying in the first two episodes but hopefully I’ll adjust.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that David Conrad is finally in the show full time. That show has the best married couple relationship on TV. I enjoy seeing a couple that can have arguments, patch them up and move on. Too many shows throw in cheating or one of the people is a jerk or doesn’t understand the lead character. Jim is supportive of his wife and doesn’t sit around whining about how he’s neglected.
I agree about the ID badge, that bothered me. As well as Melinda having the same hair style right down to the blond streaks in the front of her hair 5 years later.
I don’t love the 5 year leap but it was nice to see Jim finally become a doctor. Everybody needs a montage.
I would have liked seeing Jim’s mother’s reaction to Melinda marrying so quickly after Jim’s death not to mention Sam’s mother. I’m sure Melinda’s mother will be able to see Jim just as she does. But I would like to see at least one episode with the in-laws. There’s gotta be some turmoil there. If not then they’re the most understanding people in the world!
Last year was awesome! Hopefully they’ll keep up the good work this year. And hopefully I’ll learn to like that kid.
so does that mean that we won’t see Jim in Conrads body anymore?? Is that still part of the story line?? I’m confused because they haven’t shown him in reflection this season yet. Did they dump that idea?

With Jim’s real picture on his I.D., are we being setting up for a “Bobby Ewing shower scene”?
I was just checking comments to see if anyone out there, assuming Melinda dresses the same now as in the old episodes, finds the story’s need to have her showing as much cleavage as possible in totally inappropriate clothing, ridiculous for the time of day,or persons she is with, or where she is going,……in very bad taste and distracts in many cases from an otherwise worthy episode. We’re done. Watched less than 8 original episodes and we find it pathetic.

Th entire show jumped the shark already.They ruined it from putting Jaime Kennedy on so boring and dull to that new kid it broke the entire flavour of the show.Even the new eps are boring I won’t be watching that anymore sadly!
I do not like the concept of moving forward 5 years. It could have happened a little slower. Also, I don’t think the character Melinda needs to show her breasts off all the time. A good show does not need to use these gimmicks to get people to watch. Don’t cheapen her character this year.
every one of you is wrong about your comments because the show would get boring if it only focused on Melinda. not every one in the world likes a twist but i can see where you all are coming from. i think the story line has took a big risk thet may or may not fail. jumping forward 5 years so that we get a better understanding of aiden was a good idea, that way it’s not like Charmed (i have nothing against Charmed) and no-body understands what is going on. it is also a good idea because i think that the relationship between jim and melinda (which is my favourite name)will either become stronger or weeker as jim may not be able to handle the pressure.
now i wish good luck to all the cast the team on the 5th series and i look forward to watching it
I think it really stinks that they canceled the show and will not be coming back for a sixth season. I’m really going to miss it, I hope they make a spin-off series about grown up Aiden.
i freakin hate the fact that jim dies…. buzz kill for sure. just isnt the same knowing that really everyone sees sam but melinda sees jim… kinda dumb…i dunno i dunno i dunno.super weird!
