Braden Bacha, the 28-year-old surfer, was the first person to be evicted from the Big Brother 11 house. But he didn't go out as the traditional innocuous sacrificial lamb #1: Braden got the boot under a hail of accusations of racism (borne out on YouTube clips) and a hell-raising, franker-than-frank speech by Chima. Must List Live!’s crack Big Brother reporter Lynette Rice stopped by CBS to ask the Nicolas Cage lookalike just what the hell was going on in that house, and what the hell was going on in his head when he called Kevin the infamous ethnic slur.

Big Brother recap: The dramatic first eviction

Braden is clueless. Everyone is treating him with kiddie gloves. No wonder this guy continues to have an absolutely delusional perception of himself and what happened.
Cbs showed Erika’s racist tirade about Jee but didn’t show Braden’s, I wonder why. I understand though they pressure they must be in not having a tv, music or anything to entertainment to distract them just hanging with strangers 24/7. So I can see anyone snapping and saying horrible things but since they showed Erika’s they should have showed his.
It seems as though the writers at EW who are covering “Big Brother” are not following the live feeds (or even recaps of them). They seem pretty clueless about what has happened, and that interview of Braden was pretty softball. A real pity. I’ll be getting my BB news elsewhere.
why can’t we see Lynette Rice in this? Seeing just the interviewee is so strange… please change that next week.
Lazy reporting- almost as bad as the recap. The editing done so far has been so heavy handed- the producers seem desperate to cast Jeff and Braden in the good guy role. It seems like EW is drinking Grodner’s koolaid. sad
How do you conduct an interview without knowing what this schmuck said to Kevin? Instead of calling him out on his lies, you let him talk his way out of them. His comments were utterly racist and disgusting. No matter how high the tensions are, when you resort to racist comments, an apology ain’t gonna cut it.
Great work lady. Stellar interview. Probing questions, those were.
He’s a racist idiot, case closed.
He’s hardly the most evil man on the planet. yawn. lets move on. Accusations of racism have become as commonplace and predictable as can be.
Well fans, Big Brother is not one of the Emmy nominated reality shows for a reason. Not that good.
Speaking of Emmys, which comedy and drama do you think should win? Take the polls here:

Racism and Homophobia. What a bum, glad he’s gone.

I totally think he is RUDE!! Plus dont insult Nicolas Cage this ass looks just like Barney Rubble or Stephen Baldwin with he played the role.
This ass does not look like Nicolas Cage, my money is on Barney Rubble. About as smart too.
If you haven’t seen the clips (I haven’t) you have a completely different view of the house. I like B and Jeff but it would certainly change my mind if I saw the videos – should be included somehow on show if it’s true.
It’s unfortunate that everyone ignores the inappropriate comments Lydia and Kevin said. YES, Braden did say racist and inappropriate comments first. But let’s not forget what Lydia and Kevin said..
Besides, Lydia IS a slut and a skank! She sucked Jessie’s d*ck for votes! COME ON.
I think Lydia is crazy. If you watch the feeds, she expects everyone to do everything for her. She thought it was Jeff and Jordan’s responsibility to make sure she didn’t get nominated and she thought it was Jeff’s responsibility to defend her against all the negative comments in the house.
She needs to stand up for herself TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE. She looks like such an idiot for yelling and screaming at Jeff and Jordan when the people she should have been yelling at were Jessie, Russel, Natalie and Braden. That woman is an idiot and I can’t wait to see her go.
