I actually think Matt Barr (Sully) could go on to big things. His recent performance (and especially in the finale) has been really really strong, and he’s a very likable presence
oh and you guys should update that cast picture. I’m pretty sure that’s the original pilot cast that they had a huge turnover from. I think I spy Bill Pullman in the back.
Of the fresh faces on the show Matt Barr (Sully), Cameron Richardson (Chole), and Elaine Cassidy (Abby) might be seen again. I wouldn’t mind seeing C.J. Thomason (Jimmy) again. I’ve already seen tonights show, and it won’t disappoint. The last 5 minutes of the first hour is where the pieces start to come together.
Hahaha that is totally the old cast photo…wowww, a lot of people dropped out, huh? The bride & groom are different, the dad is different, and I think that guy in the back towards the left is supposed to be JD? No way.
trish, chloe, abby, sully, and jimmy will eventually break out into bigger stardom. i’ve also seen the finale, and unfortunately i’m one of the few who was a tad bit disappointed. harper’s island, however, was indeed a nice fun summer show.
I would love to see Christopher Gorham, Katie Cassidy, Elaine Cassidy, Cameron Richardson, Adam Campbell and Matt Barr find extra success. Also, CJ Thomason and Dean Chekvala. I loved the show and I thought it was well cast and acted, especially for what it was !

Hey! Don’t hate on Slezak, he’s got a varied taste to what he likes, and obviously knows the difference in what to expect from a long-running, awarded show like DH as opposed to a campy, creatively-light show like HI.
Anyway… I’d love to see more of CJ Thomason, Matt Barr, and of course Christopher Gorham. I can’t stand Katie Cassidy! I’m sure she’s a nice girl, but I’ve hated her ever since her stint on Supernatural, and this did not help. Even thought Matt Bar played the most ludicrous character EVER on One Tree Hill, I think he’s got the chops and looks to make it further.
I’m really hoping that Henry’s the killer because I love to see range from Christopher Gorham, who always seems to be the nice guy in his various shows… Popular, Jake 2.0, Out of Practice, Ugly Betty.
Well, Christopher Gorham has obviously been cementing his name on television for a long time now, but I would say he’s due a move into movies soon – probably romantic comedies if he’ll take the jobs.
Totally agree about Chloe. She stayed sweet but never simpering or stupid all the way through, and she has the sort of quirky attractiveness that makes her stand out from the crowd. She’s like a less annoying Drew Barrymore. I hope that Cal gets some good work too. He’s a bit Hugh-Grantish acting wise and he’s pretty endearing.
Katie Mitchell has more gravity than most actresses her age, so provided the right parts come up, she should have a very respectable career on the way.
I really enjoyed this show’s run. It was inconsistent but I still really enjoyed watching it. I thought, generally speaking, the acting was pretty decent. Unfortunately, the fine actors on the show had NO help from the writers who oft gave them stilted, uneven and nonsensical dialogue and story lines. That said, I thought the actors who played Henry, Abby, Cal and Chloe had great moments. (Particularly Cal and Chloe in their final moments and Henry in the last episode). Without giving anything away about the finale, the actors who played Trish and Sully gave great performances in the final episodes. (sorry, i don’t know anyone’s real name).

whoever played Cal was a really great actor.
I think Elaine Cassidy will be around for some time. She was great in Felicia’s Journey and Fingersmith. She just needs some breaks, hopefully Harper’s Island will help in that respect. The show wasn’t perfect, at times it was a mess but who cares, half the shows on TV in the spring and fall are worse. Harper’s Island was totally enjoyable.
whoever plays trish is gorgeous, though the only acting skills you see out of her is crying. The entire second half of the series she has tears in her eyes.
I would love to see more of Jimmy – so ruggedly handsome. Also hope to see Cal and Chloe (possible together on a medical show?). They were such a cute couple and their characters really matured throughout the series. My favorites are all the survivors up until last week. I’ll miss Cal and Chloe.
Callum Keith Rennie, the actor who portrays John Wakefield, he already has a place in my heart for his role as Lew Ashby on Californication, and is really good to see him again (and he may resonate with Battlestar Galactica fans because he was one of the major Cylons) we should definitley see more of him now because he shows that he can encompass almost any genre and become any character.

Henry is the other killer, abby’s half brother, wakefield’s kid yadda yadda yadda. its obvious.
Anyway, i think we should see more from Chloe, Abby, Sully, and Henry of course
I could see Trish doing something else after the show.

This was the best show I have seen that was on during spring/summer. I love all the actors especially the jimmy, trish, sully, chole, and sorta Henry.
Where is the love for Danny the Power Ranger?! Besides Cal & Chloe, he was pretty damn good…

when i first saw your post, i immediately thought, “the chick that played Chloe. she’ll make it.” i loved this show even though it was super campy and they all made dumb decisions. the acting got substantially better as the show went on and i could definitely see the actors playing Chloe, Cal, and Abby moving on for sure.
Just wondering . . . the show already aired in Canada. Global kept it on Thursdays.
I loved it and hated it at the same time. I wish it wasn’t over but I would love to see all the major players again in the future.
I liked a lot of the actors and actresses on Harper’s Island. I’d like to see more of Sully, Chloe, Trish, Jimmy, Cal, Abby, Danny, Henry, J.D….Even Shane…It was a good cast
Due to a death in our family, I missed the finale of Harper’s Island, after watching it all season. Does anyone know,if by chance, the finale will air again?
