Chris – Thank you for making it real. I think she could be happy with either of these last 3 genuine real men. Please don’t give Wes extra time on MTA show, he doesn’t deserve it.
chris, seriously, i cry with laughter every time i read your blog. i dont know if you know this but you are a bit of a comic genious. i have always watched the bachelor/bachelorette series but with your added blogs after each show i am a fan all over again. it is a texas sized dumpster fire that i can not turn away from!
SOOOOOOO happy that Wes is gone!!! Wow! What a complete slimeball! Now, I hope she can focus on Reid. I think they are adorable together! (Plus, I’ve always had a thing for Chandler). Also, I heard a rumor that Kiptyn was going to be the next bachelor. Please say it isn’t so. I’m sorry. He’s an okay guy…but sooooo boring. I’m a faithful bachelor/bachelorette watcher but I would definitely take the season off if Kiptyn was the bachelor. Please let it be Jake!!! He is so deserving!!!
Thank God she sent that loser Wes packing tonight. Who would buy his music after he showed his true character. Yuk!
This season started off quite bland I have to admit. However, it really picked up and I have never watched a season packed with so much drama and excitement! I love how Jillian carries herself and how she is so honest and sincere. I hate when people question her intelligence. She did NOT let Wes get off the hook tonight. She held her own and asked the right questions. Look what amazing men she is left with. Chris, this blog is hiliarious and I can’t wait for the “men tell all” and I can’t wait for the finale. I have never been so anxious for a bachelor/bachelorette finale. Love you Jillian! Love you Ed!
Chris -
We missed you on this episode! When does Jillian bring the final two home to meet her parents? Can ABC invite Laurel to the Men Tell All special too?
This by far is the BEST bachelor/bachelorette season. It is full of drama, excitement, tears, laughter, and just plain joy! I admit I wasn’t too keen after watching the first 2 episodes and feared that it may lack a little umph. However, after episode 3 I was hooked! I love and admire how Jillian carries herself. She is the most honest and sincere person that has been on the show. She IS intelligent and asks the right questions. I get so bored with bachelors and bachelorettes who have nothing to talk about other than the “connection” they have with someone. Jillian really talks with the guys and has so much fun. It is so fun to watch the dynamic of all the relationships. They are so special in their own way. Wes…is a different kind of special…..I enjoyed watching her grill him. However, I think his skin is too thick to care….I believe in Karma so who cares about him? So excited for the “men tell all” and the finale. Thanks for the hilarious blog and the best show!
By the way, may I just say that I saw Jason & Molly on Good Morning America last week. And at first when Jason admitted that he didn’t like watching the recap of the last show with Melissa because he realizes he treated her badly, I felt better about him. It was good to hear him admit that what he did was wrong. But then he IMMEDIATELY said, in the same breath, “but we should just put all that behind us…”, and jumped into the next subject, and I ended up not liking him all over again.
Jason just seems to act so cavalier about totally humiliating someone on national television.
Yes, I guess we should all move on, and I had pretty much forgotten about him, but watching him once again act like everything is all about him & his happiness is all that matters, made me not like him all over again!!
We’ve got two great ideas for you!
#1. Please invite Laurel to the Men Tell All! Now that’d be good TV!
#2. Please (for next season) choose Michael and his twin brother to be the first twin bachelors in Bachelor history.
P.S. We just want you to know: That bird has no foot.
(What’s wrong with me?)
Love your blog… why weren’t you in Spain? You’ve become our in-house psychologist/host over the years and we need the insights each week when you put the Bachelorette/Bachelor on “the couch”.
Last week (I think) you mentioned your wife’s reaction to something… what did she think of: “I’m gonna be true to myself…numero uno is most important here.” Good Lord!!
On a side note – Wes was the only man who was like “let’s go” after getting your card. The other three were more respectful – having some CLUE that spending the night is a big decision.
The “overnight dates” are only done once a season (to my memory). Why were they done for two episodes this season? I personally think it’s so the Bachelorette could turn them down once and not look so much like a (ahem) loose woman.
I was disappointed in Jillian’s reaction to Kipton saying he’s not ready to jump into marriage. You can tell she didn’t like that answer. Does she want the right guy or just a proposal?
I teach English to many immigrants from Latin America, so I flipped when Wes was so ready to “localize” with the “Spanish” folks. After all, he was a big hit in Chihuahua. Right?
Um, Wes…lukewarm success in LATIN AMERICA does NOT translate into lukewarm success in SPAIN. Two different regions of the world, buddy–yet your off-key, over-the-top twangy ramblings, I’m sure, are loathed equally in both areas of the world!
Huge for a chihuahua?
Hi Chris, just wanted to let you know that we love you down here in Chihuahua!
One question, are the men going to be meeting Jillian’s parents (as they usually do when they’re down to the final two).
Thanks!
First, Reid may look like Matthew Perry, but Ed is a double for Greg Brady – thought that since day one.
But I do have to ask you, you didn’t get to go to Spain? Bummer. However did Jillian make it through the rose ceremony without you…especially with you not there to tell her she had one final rose to give out.
Great job Chris – and great blog!
I really wish that Jillian would have gotten rid of Wes a long time ago and kept Jesse!
