I used to read him occasionally but it seemed like he was getting more out of control. After his run-in I quit completely. He thinks he is a celebrity. He’s not – he’s just a jealous nobody with a website.
He gets almost everything wrong and trust me, he copies almost all of his posts from heatworld.com a British gossip website. He’s obsessed with certain people (like Lady gaga for now) and talks so much about sort-of-british-celebreties that no one knows about over here (hence the copying of the site i mentioned). I still visit from time to time though. But it’s a blog. It has no real value.
I can’t stand him, and stopped visiting his site months and months ago. He thinks he’s “somebody” now, and has made his site about HIM, not the celebs he reports.
I used to find his site sort of fun, and a good break to my work day. But in the last little while, since Miss California, the Peas, etc, its not fun anymore. Its like suspending reality when watching the Hills by pretending those kids are not famous, his ‘outsider making fun of celebrities’ isn’t real, as his site has made him famous. And his meltdown over the Peas incident was hard to watch. His “I did not ask for this!” cry was sort of ironic.
I used to read Perez several times a day and would often tire of what was clearly an obsession to tear down certain celebrities for no clear reason other than to be mean (he talks bad Spencer and Heidi but seemingly LOATHES Lauren; why? He was all on board the Adam Lambert express until Adam didn’t come out on Perez’s schedule and then Adam could do nothing right). What finally pushed me over the edge was him lashing out at Hillary Burton from OTH. He never talked about her before, clearly doesn’t know her, and he completely bashed her, assuming she was a egotistical star because she wasn’t going to be on OTH the next season. Never mind that he got the story completely wrong, but other than Perez, no one has ever spoken ill of Hillary. He’s just like one of those jealous, mean girls in high school – tearing down others so he can feel better about himself.
I used to go to his site every now & then as a guilty pleasure, but then I started realizing how cruel some of his posts are: I remember a female celebrity getting a parket ticket so he scrawled “Wh*re” across her face (cuz that’s what getting a parking ticket makes you, right?). For some reason that actually seemed worse to me than the gross things he usually doodles on people’s faces. (Though of course he would never draw on his pwecious Lady Gaga’s face)
Oh please…anyone who says that they were deterred from his site because of the Black Eyed Peas incident would be lying. If you troll the site, you are there for the salacious gossip. I doubt the “f-word” scandal would even register on your moral compass.
I used to read hill all the time. When he started making fun of stars kids, I stopped reading. Then the whole black eye peas thing just made him look like a fool. He is out of conttrol Another useless person making money-like Paris and Kim Kardashin..
I seriously can’t stand him but still check the site everyday. I’ve been finding more and more that he’s way behind on news though.
I hate Perez, and I hate reading his site. I only read his site because he updates it often and because I can’t read DListed at work because of the type of pics they put on the site.
I used to read him but then he started bashing stars kids. Totally not cool. He used to be fun but now he spewsa hatred and ignorance. The Balck eyed Peas drew the line. He was out of control. He is useless like the Paris and Kim Kardashins of the world.
Hilton is filled with such self-loathing that he takes it out on everyone else. He’s not a journalist, he’s simply a gossip and half of what he says is junk. I’m an openly gay male and I find him an insult to our community. He has no shred of dignity nor decency. He’s someone who has no true discernable talent other than hurling insults and false claims about others. I think it’s time ALL of us avoid every celebrity news outlet, including Perez, all the print rags, the E News show, and that truly insipid crapfest called Entertainment Tonight. All those entertainment journalists couldn’t report on a real news story if their life depended on it!
I read him a couple times to see what the fuss was all about and was turned off. I turn to Trent Vanegas’ pinkisthenewblog.com for my celebrity gossip with a touch of class and heart.
A sour graped gargoyle that desperatley wants “in” to the club. He may have the money and he may have the notorioty, but he’s yesterdays news.
I am endlessly annoyed with Perez Hilton, but he does have the most celeb. gossip…
I went to his site everyday for a brief amount of time, and after awhile I had to stop, it was like looking at someone’s yearbook that wasn’t popular in HS – he just scribbled things he would never say to their faces on their faces in print. And his obsession with the hideous lady gaga was way too much, her videos look like rip offs of those Dontella Versace skits from SNL
I used to go daily but for about two years now, I don’t go at all. He got too big for his britches and started thinking that he was an actual celebrity, rather than just a blogger. And always calling himself “We”. It also bugged me when he always drew genitalia on people’s faces with dripping fluids. What is he, 12? He’s over 30 now. No thanks, I will never go to his site again. DListed, for me baby.

Perez Hilton is OVER. I hope he just fades away to wherever has-beens go.
I used to read his site every day, but I can’t really stand him. He uses it more now as his soapbox and it gets on my nerves. Plus, he has this new desire to make “amazeballs” a trend…like “fetch” – it’s not going to happen.
Perez thinks he’s being funny or ironic or witty with his ugly and often incredulous coverage of the seedier side of celebrity life. But it turns out that he is a money-grubbing sensationalist whom we’ve enabled! It’s our fault trash like Perez Hilton even exists. Nonetheless, it doesn’t excuse his demeaning and embarassing of other people. Just because they are celebrities doesn’t mean that they are ASKING for someone to lewdly draw on their photographs in an attempt to shine light on… WHAT EXACTLY? Pop culture will be better off when this trend fades… But it’s up to us to fade it.
Tried to post this once trying again. Never read it never will. I think he is sad sick trashy little wantabe celeb who uses how site to trash people he wants to hang out with. Talk about needing help. I truly don’t get why anyone would go to his site. He is never right from what I hear didn’t this guy report Jackson was faking his own death. The man has no talent or skill and wants to be famous while pretending to be anti-celeb. What a sad tiresome bore the sooner he goes away the better.
I actually enjoyed Perez Hilton for a long time. I found the same celebrities annoying as he did and enjoyed his snarky comments. But I started limiting my viewing when the BEP thing happened (Twittering for someone to call the police, seriously?) and then stopped completely when he said he would contribute his money to the Matthew Shepard Foundation. I read elsewhere where the Foundation turned it down because of his behavior in the BEP incident. When I noticed that he didn’t report on that himself, I stopped completely. Long live Dlisted. Adore it and I appreciate the suggestions of the other sites. I’ll be visiting those. Thanks!
I stopped after the BEP incident. He’s a miserable, hateful human being. Other sites are just as good. Dlisted.com is my favorite! And TMZ knows more than anyone in Hollywood so I just stick with them.
Perez is a worthless, talentless fame whore. Dlisted is the only gossip site worth reading!
I used to read him everyday,right around the Britney Debacle Era, but not so much anymore…it wasn´t really about the BEP incident, it´s the constant, RIDICUOLOSLY CONSTANT plugging of his “friends”: lady gaga and katy perry, it´s like he´s their publicist…I hope at least they are paying him well before his 15 mins are up
I don’t read him every day…but I go there when I am DYING to waste time…it is my last resort, I must shamefully admit. I rarely agree with him on anything, especially music, so I guess I go when I feel like arguing. I seem to be in solid company there. MUST STOP VISITING.

I haven’t been to his site ever since.
I used to be faithful to Pinkisthenewblog.com so I’ve been revisiting that site. I will also try DListed. But ever since TMZ broke MJ’s death, that site has been my number one celebrity site.
I used to read his blog, but I also gave it up when he started bashing celebrity kids. Especially sickening were his comments about Adam Sandler’s daughter Sadie (Perez apparently finds her unattractive), who is just a baby.
I used to visit Perez’s site daily, but over a year ago I decided he was an annoying fame-whore and quit cold turkey. There are tons of other places to get your gossip fix.
