'Project Runway' on Lifetime: 'It's a good thing'

Lifetime's new promo for Project Runway features boatloads of Regular Folk superfans (they're just like us!) affirming one of life's most essential truths: We love Project Runway and would like it to just return already. August can't come soon enough. Not watching The Fashion Show is taking a lot out of us.

Hey, does anyone else go around imitating Tim Gunn by chirping "This worries me" instead of "This concerns me"? I've been doing it wrong. This worries me. But I'm not too concerned about it. "Good moan-ing, design-uhs!"

Tim ” that is a lot of look” is one of my favorite lines he has thrown out.

Actually, whenever my girlfriend is struggling with whatever she’s working on, I like to put on my Tim Gunn glasses and implore her to “Rally!”

    “Don’t bore Nina!”

Our cable company doesn’t carry Bravo for some reason, so we just skipped last season. It used to be the only show we watched in “real time,” so I’m excited it’s moving to Lifetime!

This promo gives me the chills. So clever

Hey, Annie, how about a Tim-off? Ceballos and clinton had me laughing over their Tim impressions. Are there others out there?

I actually really like “The Fashion Show.” It’s worth checking out but I’m definitely excited for “Project Runway” to return.

    Shout out to Michael’s coffee-filter dress! I can’t wait.

I’m sorry, but where were the fabulous ProjRun loving boys? Please let this commercial not be a sign that the show is going to go too mainstream vanilla as it moves to the mom channel from the gay channel.

This is why moving it to Lifetime bothers me – even the ad for the show pretty much only features women. Sorry, but PR has a huge male audience as well and I am completely turned off by the ad above. I have no desire to tune into the “television for women” channel to watch anything – including Project Runway.

I loved this commercial because it had people from all walks of life talking about the show!! Project Runway is popular with so many people…I have been waiting for it to come back for such a long time. I heard its move to L.A is going to be awesome! So close to home! Has anyone heard that Project Runway has chose FIDM in Downtown as their West Coast location???Is that true? Because that is really cool! I wanted to apply there next summer.

The Fashion Show is actually a good show. I never watch Lifetime, and the show will definitely loose viewers, especially with this promo that I just watched.

I love Project Runway, but I am very hesitant to watch it on Lifetime. Even the commercial was bias toward women. Everyone knows that Project Runway has huge male following, especially Gay male following, and contrary to popular belief, not all or even most Gay men tune in to Lifetime. Bravo is clearly the best network for Project Runway to be on. Still, I will watch the season 6 premier on Lifetime and give it a fair chance. If the show becomes vanilla, then I will turn my back to Project Runway.

I love the commercial, especially the cheerleaders!
