I have read all the books mentioned above and the Michael Jackson Tapes. I find Michaels life very interesting, mainly because he was so unique, and I would like to have an understanding of what made him act and react the way that he did. I feel personally that he was so misunderstood and that he had given so much of himself at such a young age, that he truly never discovered who he was, or how to love himself. I want to read something from an unbiased source that just knew Michael. No matter good, bad or ugly, Michael was not only loved for his musical talent and dancing, but he was loved as a person, for the charitable things he had done in his lifetime. If anyone has a book that would help find the truth about Michael, please let it be known.
I have been reading a new Michael Jackson Book called Michael Jackson The Book the Media Doesn’t Want You to Read it is a great and positive book, I think one of the best books I have read so far, you can google it and find it on many different websites. The Authors Name is Shawn Henning. I will get Moonwalk for Christmas, and also have read Conspiracy by Aprodite Jones it is also a great book
where can i find the book Conspiracy by Aprodite Jones in atlanta, but not online???
Go to a bookstore such as Barnes & Noble. If it is not on the shelf, ask if it can be special ordered and picked up at the store .
I have read the magic and the madness and found this to be a very good book, its honest and reflective of Michael’s life.
I have also read MOONWALK and found this the best as it gives you a good insight to how Michael perceived the worls, a real deep thinker and carer of this world and its inhabitants.
I have read the final years and felt disheartened and sad that someone could depict such a great entertainer in such a manner, I would not recommend this book.
In the end Michael Jackson was a person who guarded his privacy very well and why not, we all strive for some privacy in this world, famous or not and out of respect for him we need to respect this privacy. May he rest in peace and enjoy the music of heven.
Yes,I just finished “Moonwalk” by Michael Jackson last week. It’s a wonder I hadn’t read it a long time ago.
It is a great insight in this man’s brilliant mind.
Some people wanted to criticize him for being reclusive, well,if you were mobbed day and night,at every turn, shopping, doing what we human beings do every day, wouldn’t you become somewhat reclusive too? Well, heck,I sure would.
I loved the way he goes from being this tiny little boy, watching his older brothers and sister laughing, singing, dancing, doing what teenagers do,to being at an age he can join in,make his family laugh,to joining in on the family group. He spent hours behind curtains during his gigs, watching the headliners of the day, just watching them, and would pick up the moves which would later be slightly changed to fit his own, personal style that everyone, the world over began to imitate. He talks about moving so far away from his childhood home to California. And believe me,that would be a major shock for anyone not used to the way of life here.Especially someone from Indiana. The two states are so very different.Rural vs.hustle and bustle, beach bunnies, surfboards, and very loud music,to crazy traffic.
I loved the way his mind worked.Cut him some slack for once ok? Most of the world is at fault for him having to live in seclusion.Who wouldn’t go a little bit nuts that way.I would, and so do many, many people I have met during my 50 years or so.I loved the book so much,I finished it in a day and a half
Ok Cynthia Mcguire, so you read his book. But if you knew him so well, like you have always claimed and lied about, why would you need to? Huh?
Amen to that.
i love michael jackson he is my idol long live the king of pop muahhh
I heard Leonard Rowe is about to come out with a tell-all book exposing the lies and conspiracy surrounding about MJ’s death. In time for 1st anniversary of Michael’s death, this book will shake up the world – and certainly all of his fans.
I agree that Ian Halphrin is a money gubbing liar. I do not believe for one instance that Michael was gay. He should have consulted with Lisa Marie before he decided to print those lies. According to J. Taborelli, Michael and Lisa had a very passionate sex life. J. Taborelli’s book was great. At least he told truths about Michael. He wrote that Michael was sometimes arrogant. J. Taborelli did not write all positive things about Michael but at least he kept it real. In the end,Ian Halphrin will not have any good luck. He will most likely end up like Jordan Chandler’s father (killing himself)
The new book from Leonard Rowe was a great read. You have to read this one to believe it. It sounded kinda of Racist first but then it all made since these guys did it Elvis, Kurt Cobain and Michael.
soory mike and all your family
i like these movies
