That was so awesomely horrible! I love this show!
Jon and Kate Plus 8 should have been called, “Jump…….How High?” or “Control Freak”. The theme song should have been called “Whatever Kate Wants, Kate Gets”.
What is her problem? Doesn’t she ever watch the show? I don’t blame Jon for wanting out. She is always hormonal or something, and her target is her husband in front of millions of viewers dishing her dirty laundry.
She should consider a job as a general in the army.
Jon isn’t perfect, and I know they did the show to feed their kids in the beginning, but PLEASE.
If I had something to say insulting to my husband I would NEVER say it to the world. That is something you do in private.
She gets her way about everything, and NAGS until she does. Having kids so early in their married life was what she wanted. They were very young, and there was no rush, but SHE wanted it. Be careful what you wish for cause there are usually strings attached.
I’d move out of her control the second I turned 18.
So excellent. This is a great show, so everyone watch it tonight. Be there or be squire!
What a wonderfully absurd show. Things like feeding the sister when she sleeps to keep her from getting skinnier–amazing. My kids and I still laugh about that bit. Always love something new and original, and Better Off Ted is it.
Is anyone at EW monitoring these posts? I agree with Susie’s rant about J&K+8, but it has nothing to do with the quote of the day.
I love that she diodn’t just say it – they showed Veronica feeding pudding to her sister and massaging her throat to get her to swallow. Better off Ted has replaced The Office as my favorite workplace comedy. I had to go to ABC.com to watch some of the episodes I’d missed, but they only had episodes 5-8 available, and I really wanted to re-watch the pilot.
Portia DiRossi is perfect as the not-quite human boss and Allison Anders is much better in this than she was on “Joey”. The cubicle-decor episode reminded me of life in Dilbert’s world. The faux commercials for Veridian Dynamics are a genius touch, too.
