Just catching up on my Entertainment Tonight because nothing would make me happier at the moment than hearing Mary Hart refer to Jacob as going "biker boy" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. In case you missed ET’s reveal of their so-called Twilight secrets, the video is embedded after the jump (along with that trailer for Twilight…with Cheeseburgers, just because). The only thing really worth discussing is Robert Pattinson’s strong desire to scare the bejesus out of us, which I fully support. He says Bella has one particular nightmare in which Edward is "this kind of demon. People are probably gonna be like, What? No! You can’t do that! So hopefully people will be a little bit freaked out by it." Director Chris Weitz says we’ll see a CGI Edward when Bella hears his voice, which Pattinson says is also "quite scary." Of his peformance in general, he adds, "I really want it to be disturbing." How dark do you want Pattinson to go?

Pattinson evoking a feeling of any kind would be a good start. I think many of the fans swooning over his gravitas in the movie may have just been projecting their own desires and love of the character onto his performance. His looks couldn’t have hurt, either. I’m not saying he’s a bad actor, but he was a wet blanket in the first movie. Everything about that movie was safe, too, so they almost have no choice but to get a little darker and more dangerous.

I totally agree. I know its part of the story so I can deal, but I cant wait to get back to Edward & Bella =))
Well, in the books, Bella screams herself awake for months after Edward leaves…so, I am all for super scary nightmare Edward.
Of course we want Rob to go dark…the darker the better…isn’t that what vampires are? Love him, love the movie! Too bad everyone keeps knocking Rob for his acting in Twilight…you can only be as good as the material you get! I personally think he made the script better than it originally was. Yes Rob, scare the pants off me! HA-HA!
I agree as well. I think he did a great job, I don’t understand what these ppl are seeing, for anyone that thinks he is a bad actor..what EXactly does he do, or not do tocause some to say that he isnt good ???
Rob as a demon will so the sexiest thing in the film. I want lots of dream scenes. Failcob or Taycob bores me
I was very interested in the later clip where Rob Pattinson says he’s working on a soundtrack for a film and will be appearing in a dark comedy. I could watch him all day.
I;d love Rob to play lots of dark roles. He’s a very versatile actor.
As far as I’m concerned I;d rather follow Edward away from Bella. The boring bits between Bell and Jacob are not remotely interesting.I hope we see a lot of Edward in Italy. Rob’s fascinating.
I hope we get the clip of Kristen old and Edward young at the start of the film. Rob lookign all dark and demonic will make me swoon and my mum too.
As long as there’s more Edward I’ll be happy. I refuse to sit through TWO HOURS of Wolfboy.

I think its hilarious how much ppl keep preaching about how much the movies should stick to the book only that is if they totally rewrite new moon to suite all the teeny boppers need to see more Edward when it will totally take away from where the story is going with Bella and Jacob, face it if they go changing the story focusing less on Jacob and Bella then they will have to change a bunch of stuff in the next movies cuz if you don’t see how Bella also loves Jacob then nobody will care about the “WHOLE PICTURE” if they just wanna change everything to make this a Edward movie instead of Jacob like the book then call it something other then Twilight

More Edward the better. More Rob the better. I don’t know that Edward is supposed to be so dark. Broooding, yes, but dark? We’ll have to wait to see what he means. I think New Moon will be much better than Twilight.

Hey, don’t forget the ages of the younger kids wanting to watch this .will it still be PG 13 ? personaly I can’t imagine Edward being scary in this story . but– I’ts just a dream right ?
I didn’t realize people had knocked his acting that much. I thought he was quite good, indeed, and is a natural born charmer.
Rob is a wonderful actor (How to Be, Little Ashes, the Haunted Airman, the Bad Mother’s Handbook). Catherine Hardwicke tried to bring the wrong things out of him in Twilight. Now, that we have a great director who won’t lead Rob in the wrong direction, I know that he’ll be AMAZING in New Moon. I can’t wait to see him portray a darker version of Edward. It makes complete sense since New Moon is the darkest time of Bella’s life.

the first movie sucked. the chracters should have been dark to begin with. To many I love yous and not enough grit.
Buffy the TV series was waaaaaay better than this movie.
edward isn’t ever supposed to be scary, so making it seem that way will go completely against the book and alienate many that prefer the movies to be closer to the books. thats something that Catherine understood why can’t Chris?
I’m so happy that Rob is taking his character to a darker place in New Moon. The story is very dark and disturbing, so it only makes sense for Edward to be dark as well.
We can’t wait!

In the books, Bella does sometimes have dreams about Edward looking “demonic”, but the point is that she’s unable to be afraid of him, no matter what he is.
I’m so happy that these dreams will be included in New Moon, since CHardwicke is such FAIL and did not include them in Twilight.
I’m not really worried about it being dark because the book has such a dark and scary vibe. I’m just worried about all the CGI. I LOVED how natural the first one was…ie No green screen. It really worked and made it magical and yet real. So I am worried about how fake this next one will feel. Still, I have hope! Rob P. is an excellent method actor and he seems to understand Edward so I’m sure he will make the reunion sad and joyful likes it’s supposed to be and that will wash away the darkness.
I am so happy that CHardwick is gone! Her ideas were horrible, so im hoping that the new director will do a better job at portraying the edward and bella relationship. Honestly, if you didnt read the books then you would have no idea how in love they really were, so I hope that the new director does better. And as for Edward being “darker”. Im not so sure that I like that idea. He was already so dark in the first movie that his character was scary. I just want him to be the edward in the book, the one that everyone is in love with.
That cheeseburger thing was pretty funny. On the other topic, I think it would be great to see Rob take Edward to a much darker place. I’m getting kind of excited about “New Moon” now. I hope it doesn’t disappoint me.
