'30 Rock': Best moments from 'The Ones'

While last night’s "The Ones" had Slankets (note: it’s not product placement if you like wearing it) and the glorious return of an episode-stealing Salma Hayek, I’m still a little partial to last week’s ‘Jackie Jormp-Jomp.’ And while "The Ones" had an unusual amount of un-PC jabs, (isn’t a Phil Spector joke too soon? Are Kent State jokes ever funny?) it did have some good character revelations about Tracy (who, during his twenty years together with his wife has never cheated on her), Jenna (not a sociopath, just an extreme narcissist) and Kenneth (see below.) Here, in chronological order, are some of our favorite moments from "The Ones":

1. The repercussions of "We should think about this" for Liz? Watching Solid Gold in her basement on prom night.

2. Liz is both "spirited, like a show horse" and "smart, like a genetically engineered shark."

3. Elisa’s shaky English upon returning from Puerto Rico: "I don’t have the strength to tell him to his head."

4. Kenneth’s real name? Dick Whitman!

5. Tracy, Griz, and Dot Com try to come up with an effective solution to the Angie tattoo ("No judgment in brainstorming"):

6. Brian Williams willingly intercepting Tracy’s booty calls.

7. Harmonica = "mouth radio"

8. Poor "legally dead for five minutes" Kenneth, er, Dick, bringing something back with him from the other side.

9. Desperately wanting to hear the rest of the lyrics to "Night Cheese."

10. "Isn’t there a Slanket somewhere you should be filling with your farts?"

What did you think of "The Ones", PopWatchers? Was there a moment you loved that we missed? Or were you too busy coming up with new pranks of your own (fedoras included)?

I loved how all of Kenneth’s moments before “dying” were quotes – Saving Private Ryan’s “earn this?”
And don’t you want to know what Jon Hamm had to say about Kenneth stealing Don Draper’s identity?

Frakin’ hilarious! And yes, Spector (who’s been a caricature for years) and Kent State (tragic, yes, but also endlessly exploited by mainstream media and the History Channel) are ripe for satire.

I loved Pete’s reaction to Jenna singing “Don’t Cry Out Loud” at his door. He’s one of those characters that isn’t showcased too much, but it seems like every moment he has is perfect. (Thinking back to last week when he’s dragging Tracy to rehearse while he’s ‘passively resisting’)

I LOVE Brian Williams. And, it makes me really happy that the NBC News kids are all willing to be funny on 30 Rock.

Do you want to see me naked? Kind of. Now I know why Jack likes it.

great ep last night, but i’m THRILLED to see salma gone. something about her just didn’t fit.

How about Elisa’s “What the Frak” BSG t-shirt? Awesome

Loved that Mad Men reference! All the character reveals were really great. The Slanket was funny, but since the Snuggie is sort of over, it felt a little bit stale. There needs to be more Pete on the show.

Bringing Salma back last night made me realize that the momentum for that story line was dead in the water. I liked her in the earlier episodes, but I didn’t really care about her last night. Plus, I’m still waiting for Liz to tell Jon Hamm that his sister is really his mother.

This was one of the best episodes this season! I was lizzing the whole time! “I’m just a girl standing in front of a boy she poisoned so that another boy could go to town on her.”

I couldn’t think of where I heard Dick Whitman before and now I’m embarrassed because I thought I was the biggest “Mad Men” fan! I loved the “Night Cheese” song too. It reminded me of that time Liz made stew for her date with Jon Hamm and she said she altered the original recipe by “replacing water with cheddar cheese.” She is my soulmate.

Elisa: “I haven’t spoken English in two menses!”……..I loved the reference to the “Snuggie”, which they called a Slanket. It’s funny because EW has another article about those Informercials you see all the time, and those creepy Snuggies are one of them!

ADORE!!!!! Love how Jenna is always breaking into the tackiest possible song at her most psychotic moments, ‘Don’t Cry Out Loud’. Oy vey. The look on Pete’s face!!!!! Gotta go, there’s a slanket somewhere I should be filling with my farts.

Elisa’s What the Frak t-shirt? I SO want to go to there.
