Extract (in theaters Sept. 4)
Plot: A working stiff (Jason Bateman) deals with everyman issues like grouchy coworkers, a cooled-off marriage, and a tempting temp (Mila Kunis).
Looks like: Office Space meets the chocolate sketch from I Love Lucy.
Verdict: With Bateman on familiar ground as an exasperated mensch and writer-director Mike Judge returning to his Office Space hijinks, Extract could manufacture some pretty big laughs.
How about it, PopWatchers? Is this the next Office Space? And what do you think of Ben Affleck’s stoner-dude sidekick?

I’m gonna go ahead and say AWESOME!
Mike Judge + Jason Bateman + J.K. Simmons = Comedy Gold.
Now, whether it equals box office gold is another matter. Hopefully, the studio won’t ditch this one like it did Idiocracy.
I dunno. I’m gonna take a “wait-and-see” approach on this once, especially because of its use of some pretty tired cliches, such as: The Frigid and Heartless Wife, The Stoner Buddy, The Poor Put-Upon Nice Husband, The Hot and Lovely Young Temptress… to name a few.
Yep…I’m so there. Office Space is a classic and I’m a lover of all things Bateman so…there’s really no question. Not to mention the awesome Beth Grant, aka Kitty Farmer:
Laura–nothing cliche about office space. looking frwd to seeing the whole movie-not just a trailer. When is it coming out?
THIS LOOKS LIKE A COOL MOVIE. BUT DONT LET BRITNEY SPEARS SEE IT SHE WILL FREAK
