This is my favorite kind of meeting of the minds: Tomorrow’s episode of ABC’s The View is gonna feature Saturday Night Live‘s hysterical comic Fred Armisen. But not as himself — he’ll show up in full Joy Behar regalia, playing the biting caricature of her that he’s created on the late-night show. Just look at this preview photo of the two of them!
I love how they’re wearing the exact same outfit and doing some of the hand gestures from Armisen’s signature "So what, who cares?" line he uses to lampoon Behar. Also: Love that Joy seems to so be playing along with this whole thing. Really, parody is the highest form of flattery, right? It totally is.
The most-recent parody of The View on SNL was the episode that Tracy Morgan hosted. After the jump, check out the clip to get a refresher course in Armisen-as-Behar (and, as a bonus, Morgan-as-Sherri Shepherd).
Armisen’s take on Behar is spot-on funny. I never get tired of the "So what, who cares?" And I can’t wait to see what transpires tomorrow on The View. Will Armisen-as-Behar guest host? Or will Armisen-as-Behar and Behar-as-Behar interview each other? A battle of the best delivery of "So what, who cares?" maybe? Could some of the other comics-as-View co-hosts possibly pop up? (A boy can dream, right?)

Otherwise, why bother? (or I suppose the question should be, “Why should anyone living outside of America bother visiting ew.com?”)

“America” is a shorthand way of saying “United States of AMERICA” – and I’m guessing that’s where you live. Your response has “ignorant American” written all over it – only this time you’re ignorant of your own country. Quite an impressive feat…

Fred Armisen is the only bright spot in this quickly tiring recurring sketch. They either need to come up with some new jokes, or stop, NOW.
Hey I live in the south of America “The continent” and I can’t watch Hulu videos neither…it clearly says that you have to live in the United States to watch them…also if the video is available on youtube they post it, but sadly this is not one of those…

At this point, isn’t Joy Behar already a parody of Joy Behar? Armisen will be a little redundant (but I do love the SNL bit).
