“Feed me Krelborne – feed me now!”
One of my favorites! Ellen Greene has great pipes. Makes me miss Pushing Daisies.
I love that song. Made me almost want to find someone named Seymour to date.
“And though it may cause my patients distress (distress) / Somewhere, somewhere in Heaven above me / I know, I know that my mama’s proud of me / Ohhhh, mama!”
Woah, eerie. I’m auditioning for Ford’s Theatre’s production of this show this afternoon. Hopefully a good sign!
“Theme Thursday”, had “vegetable” as it’s theme this week, and I used this movie (among others):

Just a mean green mother from outer space and you’ve got me fighting mad
Got to love Levi Stubbs in this movie.
“Yes!”
) FYI, if you go on YouTube, you can actually find a very nice rendition of “Suddenly Seymour” that Mandy Moore and Adam Pascal (a.k.a. Roger from “Rent”) did on Bravo’s Salute to Broadway.
“Yes, what?”
“Yes… doctah!”
Love it
I love that scene when the love interest sings
“I cook like Betty Crocker, I look like Donna Reed”.
Nick at Nite was showing reruns of the Donna Reed show when that movie came out and it made me laugh to hear that line.
I didn’t think the movie was superb, but it is under appreciated.
Man, this movie is one of the most perfect movie musicals ever made. I watch it and cannot think of one way to make it better.
“Someone help me/ I’ve gotta get out of Skid Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow”
i love that movie!
Love that movie and love Ellen Green even more. What a voice!
Have to say… this is weird. The theatre company I’m involved with is doing Little Shop… And we open TONIGHT!!! Good omen, I hope! If you’re from the Loft, Break a Stem, everyone!
Fave Quote: “You know the kinda eats, the kinda red-hot treats, the kinda sticky-licky sweets I craaaaave!” HAHA!
