Earlier this week, we asked you to list your favorite pop-culture heroes for an upcoming issue. But enough with that do-gooder crap, now it’s time for the fun part: Who are the greatest villains in pop culture, past and present? The Joker? Cruella De Vil? Dr. Doom? Just like with the heroes, you can pluck from movies, TV, books, or comic books. Write your dastardly picks below, even if they’ve already been suggested, because we’re going to compile the top vote-getters and announce them in the issue, along with your (and our) list of heroes. Maybe we’ll even stage a battle to the death between the groups and see who’s left standing. That could solve the good vs. evil question once and for all.

Let me be first to say it: Vader.
My favorite movie “villain” is probably not one that most people would consider: Mrs. Robinson from “The Graduate.” She’s just… a not very nice person.
I’m having a little deja-vu. Did we do this recently? Oh well. Anyways, I nominate Voldemort. He’s so evil they can’t even say his name, for crying out loud.
For me it’s the obvious ones like The Joker, Norman Bates, and Hannibal Lector. But some i think you need to include are The JameS Bond baddies such as Auric Goldfinger, Hugo Drax, Emilio Largo, JAWS, Dr. No, or Blofeld. They are always overlooked in these type of lists and ithink you should mention at least one of them in your issue. I’d pick Blofeld, Jaws, or Goldfinger…..
Oh, absolutely Maleficent. She’s the sole reason why “Sleeping Beauty” is my all-time favorite Disney movie. Mostly because she condemns that weenie Prince Philip to the “fires of hell.”
I must say my fav villain is…Ben Linus from Lost. You are never quite sure if he is lying or telling his version of the truth. He manipulates everyone and lets nothing get in the way of what he wants.
Daniel Plainview “There will be Blood”. Draiiiiinage Eli!!!
The Joker
Kaiser Soze
Hannibal Lecter
Darth Vader
T-1000
Gollum!
Nurse Ratched! Not only is she super creepy and super evil, but she feels like such a real person, which makes her even scarier.
ben linus – although it’s not always clear if he’s the villain or the hero. lord voldemort – pure, terrifying, broken-souled evil. darth vader – one of the best bad guys ever.
I vote for Vader.
Keyser Söze
Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Urusula from The Little Mermaid. Disney used to know how to do a really good villain
Darth Vadar, Sauron, Voldemort, Cruella De Vil, Captain Hook, The Joker
