This name change to SyFy is just another nail in the coffin of this channel. I thought for a while I was the only person who railed at this utter nonsense (WRASSLIN’ on Sci-Fi? WTF?) they deluged us with.
The movies with one or two exceptions are drek. I mean yes, Giant Gila Monster was cheesy but it was cheese worthy to sit, watch, and laugh at. SS Doomtrooper? FAUGH! Mansquito? Double FAUGH!! Their movies are as bad as ANY Uwe Bols vomitus and with less care made in their production.
Give me my damn BBC America and sod the Syphillis Channel.
Amen brotha’
Gene Rodenberry, Aldous Huxley, Rod Serling and Ray Bradury are probably rolling over in their graves. What a dumbing down of a wonderful venue that got me reading and opening my eyes to life.
God help America.
Hookd on Fonix dinint wurk 4 mee! End I shure as fuk hoep dat it dusint wurk 4 da SyFy chanel eyedur.
To whom it my concern,ie..(every one)You talk about doing things to save the planet. How ever no one is giving any consideration or airtime to inform the general public about the millions of acres of flouting plastic (are discarded plastic). That we have dumped in the Pacific ocean. This problem that we have created is killing all types of see mammals and fish at a horrible rate.I ask no I’m begging you to let the people know about this travesty. And then if we as a responsible people scream loud enough so or government hears us. Then maybe they will send a large barge with a thrashers and compactors, and a fishing trawler out to scoop up and package it up for recycling the billions of tons plastic so we can say we fixed something we caused.Thank you for your time.
I’m sick of hearing “imagine greater”! I change the channel
Way to alienate the SciFi crowd, your main viewers? Thats like changing the name of ESPN because you want to distance yourself from sports. Morons.
This channel has become SO stupid and repetitive since it went to “syfy,” I can’t (don’t) watch it any more. What a waste. If I see another Stephen King movie or Ghostbuster type series I’ll kill myself.
[...] than American SF tv?Personally, I think the problem can be traced to the same idiocy that caused the SciFi channel to change their name to Syfy. If you are trying to appeal to science fiction fans, why would you want to disguise the fact that [...]
