People.com reports R&B singer Chris Brown was released from LAPD custody after posting $50,000 bail on Sunday night. Earlier in the evening, according to the People.com report, Brown turned himself in for questioning in connection with a police investigation into charges of a felony battery that took place in a car early Sunday morning.
According to police reports, officers responded to a 911 call at around 12:30 a.m. An unidentified woman who appeared to have been beaten identified Brown as her attacker. Brown was not found at the scene.
Earlier today, sources backstage at the Grammys told EW that Brown and fellow Grammy nominee and girlfriend Rihanna canceled their appearances at the awards show following a car accident. Shortly after, Rihanna’s publicist issued a statement, saying Rihanna was "well" and thanking fans for their concern and support.

Wow, is this story insinuating that Rihanna called 911 for Chris Brown beating her?
Yeah I can’t figure out if Rihanna is the unknown female that TMZ is talking about…
Putting it all together, it appears Chris Brown assaulted Rhianna to the point where her physical scars are so severe that she is unable to perform. Sad.
I don’t believe Chris Brown would hurt anyone, and why would he just leave someone at the scene especially if it was Rihanna.

Another site reports that Rihanna was in a car accident and received facial injuries so was not able to perform at the grammy awards. Those injuries include bruises. It went on to say that Chris Brown and “a woman” were fighting in a car around 12:30 am and they pulled over. Both got out of the car and the argument escalated to where the woman was injured by him and he left the scene. Put two and two together.
I hope that because he is a star they don’t cut him any slack. No man should hit a woman or vice versa no matter what.
