Here’s the thing- I love etta’s songs. I do. Who doesn’t think they are classics? But it’s just so unbecoming to sit there n bash beyonce! I don’t love beyonce but she’s a great singer n dancer so I respect her! To me Etta needs to respect n appreciate that beyonce portrayed her ass in a film! I mean there’s so many important people in this world…so if u don’t appreciate a movie n actress wanting to portray u then u think to highly of urself. I will always love etta’s music. And thanks to the film that beyonce played in, tons of people will but etta’s music again! Be appreciative. Don’t b a bitch Etta! We all are bitches sometimes but be a woman a take back ur statement or apologize. Don’t have someone apologize for u! Really I respected u Etta but to me it’s childish n ungreatful to attack beyonce! Be greatful that ur song was even played at the inauguration. Etta was just pissed n I can understand that but show some class! Another thing I don’t like Obama but not because he didn’t invite Etta to song her song….stupid…but because he has destroyed our constitution and gets away with breaking the constitutional laws….bullshit. I didnt know beyonce was singing ettas song right away i thot it was etta,But,I was glued to the tube once those 2 songs bellowed.was beautiful,Etta.your song for sure but older an wiser u should have gotten,not cold and bitter,I am sure you got royalties,get some anger management!Beoyonce did heartwrenching job in my books! I recorded it to 2 discs and all over my computer differnt places.First time i ever heard of it!
