sorry if this has been mentioned
i agree that ellie could be eloise and also dan’s mom, but she could just as well be charlotte’s mom. If charlotte really is ben’s childhood friend and was born on the island…just a thought
Daniel showed signs of liking Charlotte before the time skipping, when they went to the medical station to help get Jack’s appendix out. And do we really know that Daniel left for America? If the timing of Theresa’s sickness is right, that might just have been a cover for the freighter expedition, and he hasn’t returned or sent word because he’s been stuck on the island.
Where are Rose and Bernard?
I hope I am not the only person with “Jughead” on their DVR. In the begining of the episode when Desmond was running through the village looking for the doctor I noticed something. Just before he enters the hut where they are playing cards I noticed a second Des turning away from the Des in search of the Doc. Was this an editing error or is there more to this? Was the second Desmond turn away so they would not run into one another? 2 Desmonds in the same place at the same time? Please give me your thoughts because this is killing me. Am I reading into a bad editing error or is there something to this?
nice U2 reference
Lost & Confused – I do not have a DVR, but I believe you and do not think this is an editing error. Time is repeating itself now that the island has moved – I think it’s a hint. I read a very interesting theory on Facebook – that the Dharma group used a polar bear to move the donkey wheel (both because a polar bear is strong and could handle the cold) That is how the polar bear ended up in the desert just as Ben did when he turned the wheel – that brings us to Charlotte, who as an anthropologist, found the polar bear buried in the ground – this implies that she is in the distant future. Now she travels back in time to the island and my theory is that she is experiencing the nose bleeds because one of her parents/grandparents dies, which means her life does not exist until they can stablize the time loop on the island – that is why all life is doomed and they have only 70 hours. Perhaps Charlotte is the only character from the distant future-have we seen anyone else with nose bleeds?
Charles Widmore got off the island with a child Charlotte in tow by turning the wheel. He can’t go back to the island (turning the wheel makes it impossible) and that is what has fueled his obsession with finding it. It’s also not where it was when he left it because he moved it. That is also how Charlotte knew where to look for the polar bear. Also, I’m going to guess that Charlotte is related to Charles Widmore. And I think all the Charles Widmore=Baby Charlie theories are creeeeeepy because that means Penny’s Dad=Penny’s son and that is super icky.
I just got done watching ‘Jughead” again, because I wanted to make sure that I didn’t miss something. (Good ole DVR!) I have a theory: Ellie is Ms. Hawkins, who is Daniel’s mother. As we all know, certain people can come and go on the Island. However, unless I’ve missed something, when Faraday meets Richard, he gives Richard a look that makes me feel that Daniel is making some kind on a connection. My theory is that Richard and Ellie are Daniels parents.
posted this another spot but it fits here better,,,when Ellie captures Faraday &CO @ the creek she says “oh it;s you again” What is she referencing ??? I DO believe Faraday is quite an important “constant” character throughout the island’s “history” !!!
