Dalton Ross will be chatting with Friday Night Lights‘ Connie Britton Friday morning, and he’s agreed to pass her a few questions from you, loyal P-Dubs. You’ll be able to check out the video interview on EW.com Friday afternoon, before the drama returns to NBC that night (Jan. 16, 9 p.m. ET). Ask any and all questions you have about the upcoming third season — but to those who’ve already watched it on DirecTV, please keep it spoiler-free.

Together, you and Kyle Chandler play one of the most realistic adult married couples I’ve ever seen on television. What combination of writing, acting, and sheer chemistry makes that possible?
Season 3 was terrific. What are the chances there will be a season 4?
You also played the coach’s wife in the movie version of FNL. How was that character and relationship different than the one between Coach Taylor and Tami?
I know people on the Internet and other fans of the show pitch a fit when “Friday Night Lights” gets ignored by the Emmys, especially yours and Kyle Chandler’s performance.
Do you or other people involved in making the show pay attention to that stuff at all?
-John Ceballos
Here’s my question: Connie, how did you become so awesome? Love you, love the show. Season 3 was outstanding. I’m raising my (metaphorical) glass to you and the whole cast for a job perfectly done.
How is working on FNL different from your previous acting jobs? I’m sure that you like various aspects about them all, but what is your favorite thing that is unique to this show?
You played my wife at Surflight Theatre in 1993 in some British murder mystery play. Do you remember your summer stock years and that cast house fondly, Connie?
Hi Bonnie!
Question : Does Tami regret becoming the principle of Dillon High? It sure seems like a lot of work and it does not help that school board members take care more of the Football team then of the rest of the school.
LOVE the show!
Laura
I just had to comment on how wonderful season 3 was and I truly hope NBC (if not DirecTV) keeps you around for more seasons. One of the most beautifully acted dramas on TV. Kudos to the entire cast.
No question, I just wanted to say that you are the Yummiest Mummy on TV.
Love ya, love the show.
I had to write to say how incredible season 3 of the show has been – I’ve seen everything but the finale because I’m trying to delay it being over. I will be watching again on NBC though to help with the ratings! Without spoiling anything, the heart to heart Tami had with Julie on the couch was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen – the emotions that you conveyed on your face were just incredibly real and varied. Kudos!!
Question: Do you think about things like facial expressions and other subtleties when acting in a scene, or are they more of a by-product of the emotion you’re trying to convey at the time? You and the rest of the cast are particularly brilliant at this, by the way. I think it’s why we feel so connected to these characters, because of the realism of the emotion.
Question: Do you think Tami is sometimes too idealistic? The example that I can think of is Tami encouraging Tyra to go to colleges she “realistically” can’t get to with her GPA.
Season 3 was fantastic! Do you know if the ratings for FNL were good on Direct TV? Now that the show is done filming for the season, do you have any other projects lined up?
So when will Season 3 start on NBC? Date and time, please (I do not have direct tv and have no idea what has happened in Season 3)…
Duh, read the article, dummy. Sorry for the post. Can’t wait!
