Is it possible for 30 seconds of music to make your day? Hell yeah — if that 30 seconds is a snippet of a new Kelly Clarkson song. MJsBigBlog is streaming a clip of ”My Life Would Suck Without You,” the first single off of Kelly’s upcoming album. From the sound of the lyrics — ”Maybe I was stupid for telling you goodbye/Maybe I was wrong for tryin’ to pick a fight” — it’s the flip side to ”Since U Been Gone”. I’m gonna cut this post short because I need to find a dancefloor (or a treadmill) stat. But what do you think of it? Does it sound as promising as ”Since U Been Gone”? I think they took down the song already! I did get to hear it before they took it down but I am super excited for the new album. I loved My December but I also love the poppier side of Kelly Clarkson. No matter what, her singing is still awesome!
I have been behind Kelly since American Idol and as a fellow Texan, I couldn’t be more proud. I loved the darker singer/songwriter side from My December, but who could forget how many chart-topping singles came from Breakaway? This single will bring Kelly back to the forefront of pop music again. Way to go Kelly!
It sounds like Katy Perry, which makes me sad. I used to like Kelly a whole lot more.
But, I will wait for the whole thing before I actually decide if I like the song or not.
I’ll buy whatever she puts out there. I actually liked My December; it grew on me. I think they just released the wrong single off of it.
It makes me sad that people don’t appreciate what an amazing album My December is. The songs are heartfelt and raw, which makes them beautiful. This new one sounds like she’s going back to being fun and upbeat. I’m happy no matter what she does. Her voice is just fantastic. I can’t wait for the album!!! GO KELLY!!!

This song rocks. Yeah, the song sounds like Katy Perry but that is to be expected. It’s Dr. Luke and Max Martin and dance pop is very in right now.
This song just rocks my butt off.
And I’m on team Kelly. Why choose sides when you can enjoy both?
Her voice doesn’t sound like Katy Perry at all. Kelly can give me chills when she sings. Anyway, I love it so far. Can’t wait to hear the whole thing!

Just like “Breakaway”, “My December” had some great tracks and some clunkers.
But tracks like “Never Again”, “Be Still”, “Maybe”, “How I Feel”, “Chivas” and the amazing “Sober” are awesome tracks.
i’m also a keely fan no matter what. every album can’t be the same!!! it’s ok to go a little darker once in a while, cuz that’s how life really is. i do like the new song, and the “single” and album covers are hot. this should be a big hit for our original and favorite idol, kelly clarkson!!
It sounds like a typical Kelly Clarkson/Katy Perry/Avril Lavigne song to me. I am so sick of the ‘pissed off rock chick who’s really pop’ sound. It’s so outdated and tired now. I prefer Katy Perry because at least she takes that sound that’s been so played out now and gives it a new twist.
