Just call my cable company and told them to cancel my ABC subscription. No BL – no ABC for me

I love Boston Legal, and I can’t believe they’re canceling it. I have to admit, though, that the show is going downhill. I loved the first three season, but seasons 4-5 just got ridiculously over the top. I couldn’t stand watching anymore, especially Jerry and Clarence. Seasons 1-3, this was the best show on television.

I started watching Boston Legal when I moved away from Boston and was feeling home sick. It quickly became one of my favorite shows. I have even gone back and watched the episodes of The Practice that introduced our favorite pair Alan and Denny.

I just want to preface my comment that I’ve never watched the show, but I’ve never really hated on it either. This clip was outright hilarious, which makes me want to rent some DVDs. However, I think the most verbally affectionate straight men on TV would have to be JD and Turk on Scrubs.

Started off as a great show but became one of the worst Hollywood liberal pushing pieces of junk ever. I miss the early shows. I am glad it is leaving now.

I’m going to miss this show so much. Its truly one of the highlights of my week along with 30 Rock. I truly love it, and I’m going to miss Jerry, Shirley, Katie, Carl, Denny, and Alan. Especially Denny and Alan. Here’s to a final balcony scene, and one last drink.

I will miss Alan Shore in the courtroom the most and James Spader played Alan with such passion, I often wonder, how much of that is Alan and how much that is James. Either way, I will miss his courtroom rants!!!!

What is left to watch on TV? I hold this show in the higbest esteem. Alan Shore as portrayed by James Spader is brilliant. The friendship of Spader/Shatner is powerful and needed by our impersonal world. Tell me someone’s made a huge mistake in dropping this show.

Husband and Madcow sounds like a “winner” to me. These two together are gold. Unfortunate that my favorite show is going off the air when crap like Dancing with stars and the countless “CSI”‘s are flourishing. For what its worth I found it highly engaging and very funny. Here’s to Crane,Pool&Schmidt. Cheers.

Just to add, it makes you wonder who is planning the material at ABC. I think there must be a lack of oxygen in their boardroom or it is full of preschoolers on recess!!

We are settling in to watch the final episode of Boston Legal. As one of the very few programs on TV for intelligent adults, we expect in future we will be spending more time with books! It will probably be replaced by more whiny kids shows for 20 something viewers – yawn! the final scenes on each episode some of the best and most intelligent minutes on TV .Shame on ABC!

My Favorite Show and the only one I made time to watch. Seriously, that was it. TV has become too brainless. I like intelligent commentary with my humor. I’m only 30 but I guess I am going to just turn the TV off…probably good for my health anyway

You can’t possibly take this show off air!!! This is the best show ever! I love Boston Legal! I can’t believe that they would take this show off air! What is wrong with you people! Put BL back on the air! This is the best cast and writting on any show that I have ever watched and I am 28!

  • jenn

This was the BEST show ever! It was the ONLY show I made time to watch. They touched on topics no one else dares, and it is so funny! I am only 29, but completely enjoy the intelligent witty banter.
