Being asked to watch an interview with hottie-of-the-moment Robert Pattinson is kind of like being asked if I want to eat a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked: The answer is always yes. Sadly, even I’m getting a bit weary of hearing the 22-year-old Twilight star have to answer the same questions (i.e. "So you’re into music right? How about those crazy fans?") over and over again. So to spice up last night’s chat on The Tonight Show, my BFF/Thanksgiving host Dennis and I played a round of RPattz Bingo incorporating common questions asked of the actor and his own endearing quirks (i.e. the fingers through the hair maneuver). Right out of the gate I got a tress tousle, an Entertainment Weekly shout-out, and skinny black jeans appearance. I was one Harry Potter reference away from the win, but darn it, Jay wouldn’t quit talking about Pattinson’s beat-up ‘89 BMW.
Unsurprisingly, another topic of rapt conversation was Pattinson’s luxurious locks, but it was fellow Tonight Show guest, the baby-teeth-pouch toting Heidi Klum, who was asking the questions. "Do you wake up like that or did you style it like that?" "I kinda wake up like this," Pattinson responded. And then later, provoked by Jay, Klum again asked, "I was just wondering if it took a while or if just comes like that naturally?" "It comes straight out of the box," Pattinson deadpanned. Gotta love that limey wit.
Did you catch last night’s chat fest, Twilighters? What was your favorite Rob moment?

Yup…”straight out of the box”…that’s gotta be one of my favorites. He never fails to crack me up.
Heidi Klum and Rob should take their show on the road. They were hysterical together.
RPattz Bingo add on: touching the soles of his shoes and/or trying to curl his 6′1 body into a ball… bonus points if he does both at the same time.
I love that even after Klum said she couldn’t see him cuz he was hiding under his hair, he still couldn’t really look at her lol So cute
Is the half baked comment any relation to his co-stars activities…poor things. He was pretty damn funny – more relaxed than I’ve ever seen really. Heidi made the interview.
Seriously, the movie came out and it sucked big time (I say this as a fan of the books), so why is this kid still famous?
was it me or did rob not fully flick his hair back like he usually does after heidi referred to it. also it started out as typical ‘actor wants to impress supermodel’ when he turned towards her. but robbie robbie robbie do not speak to THE supermodel with somehing as stupid as “he’s german, do you know him?” in his defence we do love him more when he sounds like a klutz just like the rest of us.
totally agree with mina that they should do an act!
and rob bingo… i am SO playing that next with his next inetrview.
I thought Rob was adorable. His interaction with Heidi was just too funny and I loved the comments he made about not ever wanting to buy a car from his dad, lol.
SO, the disturbing part was admitting that he doesn’t wash his hair and that he’s “not into hygeine and stuff”. . .was he just ‘taking the piss’ as the Brits say?
Rob is always taking the p*ss but the americans just dont see it. Love him for it.
Rob’s a fantastic comic actor. I dotn think peopel realise yet. He was hilariosu last night btu then hsi Ellen ingterview was brilliant too. Now he’s more relaxed you start to see his humour coming through. He is definitely taking the p out of most of the questions. You have to remember how many times he’s been asked te same question.
Rob is hilarious in all his recent interviews. His Ellen interview was fantastic and I loved the windscreen wiper anecdote he gave on Ellen. He’s a charming guy. he was great value on the Tongith Show. Infact he should have been the main guest.
I loved Rob talking about his father. Great fun. When Rob laughs the world’s a better place. I agree his Ellen interview was fantastic. I wonder what the one with Tyra Banks will be like. The neck bite is so erotic.
Rob’s already said in one interview he did on the hot topic tour that he’s so bored with the hair comments he makes it up now and exaggerates more and more. Problem with that stance is that it makes people ask him abotu it more and more. He needs to cut off his hair and let interviewers wake up and focus on his acting.
He’s adorkable! That’s why we love him. He’s himself ALWAYS. He’s not a poser. He’s the real deal, and that’s rare in Hollywood. That’s what makes him so special.
He looked freakin amazing! Major swooooon. I love the part about his car and his dad. lol
Rob is really funny and genuine, I love watching his interviews!
This and the Ellen interview were great fun. I wanted him on longer to be honest.I liked the sort of father/son style interview Rob and Jay had.
And he said he wasnt funny enough for Saturday Night Live.Of course he is. He’s a delight to watch. I really felt Jay and he got on well. He really is having fun now in these latest interviews. he doesnt have to sell the film quite so hard. Its great to see.
I loved the whole interview but i do wish he’d not mention hygiene issues. He’s clearly jesting but rags and online sites just pick up on the words and twist it into all sorts. I agree he needs to cut his hair for Parts Per Billion so it stops them asking the same stupid questions.
Clips of Rob’s performance as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes is now on you tube

Rob’s deadpan look to the idiotic model was fantastic. He’s a great comic actor as anyone who has seen him in Bad mothers handbook will testify to.
i loved the interview..wish it was a bit longer though
did anyone notice he seemed a really tad bit shytalking to HEIDI??? not the entire time but when she first asked him a question he seemed a bit shy.. to me at least loool

Clenching his hands into fists, holding his mouth open for a unnecessary amount of time.
He was quite adorkable in this interview. I love when he talks about his hygiene issues, cause he’s so obviously hamming it up for his own enjoyment. I wish they’d had him on longer though!
I could watch Rob for hours. I find him fascinating and funny. He coudl fill a programme easily. Just add in his music (Piano and guitar) and you have a prime time show just on him.
The man’s a legend. The most entertaining actor around. He has great timing.
One more thing Rob – enough with the hygiene conversations. We get the joke. Now go and get a short hair cut.
EW should arrange a jamming session with Rob so we can hear his music. A nice intimate gig somewhere. He’s far more interesting than anyone else in Hollywood.
I’ve watched or listened to enough Rob interviews to recognize when he’s just being sassy to the same questions over and over again. His subtle wit and sarcasm was totally lost on Jay and Heidi. It cracks me up that Robert goes on about his hygiene issues. Someone needs to inform him that trying to avoid showers and look like a slob isn’t going to stop the robsession.
Bingo..hilarious. Not as hilarious as Rob but still quite funny. What I like most about him (and it’s a pretty lengthy list) are his smile and sense of humor. Truly funny, clever men are irresistable…especially when they look like that! I thought the interview was fun my only real problem was at the end of the show when Jay mispronounced his last name calling him Robert Pattin. He corrected himself but it still irked me.
He was fantastic on Leno. Funny, adorkable, genuine. He’s an interviewers dream come true: an articulate and funny guy. His interactions with Heidi were hysterical – Nibelung! I could watch this man talk all day long.
