Some might call my habit of listening to a single song on repeat for hours on end annoying, but I’m not friends with those people. Not only does this particular predilection guarantee I’ll be enjoying an uninterrupted, quality aural experience for the better part of a day, but it allows me to work while listening to music without becoming too distracted (yay for productivity!). The track quickly ticking up my iTunes’ most-played list this week is Kings of Leon’s "Sex on Fire." I’ll admit I’m a little late getting on the Tennessee quartet’s bandwagon. But after catching a repeat of their SNL performances this weekend and realizing that their increasingly ubiquitous tune (Gossip Girl, anyone?) wasn’t a long-forgotten Bruce Springsteen number (am I the only one who hears twinges of "Dancing in the Dark"?), I downloaded the track immediately. And have been enjoying it over, and over, and over again.

My musts…
CBS on Tuesday nights. NCIS, The Mentalist, and Without A Trace are the perfect combination.
Lily Allen – A few months back a friend of mine introduced me to this talented Brit. Her music is infectiously fun and and like you with “Sex On Fire” I can listen to her entire ‘Alright, Still’ CD over and and over.
‘fandomsecrets’ over at Live Journal. I’m addicted and must go look to see if there are any new secrets for any of my shows/characters/books/etc daily.
Hmmm…It’s a old/new song this week !My sister and I have been singing (saying, texting, emailing,…) “I can’t smile without you” by Barry Manilow since we watched Hellboy II this weekend (A must watch also)!
The movie trailer for four christmases is so funny. I just hope all the funny parts haven’t already been shown.
I am loving the remix of Love Lockdown with the imfamous RKelly but I cannot help it – it is really hot.
I will finally come out the closet as a fan of Beyonce – her new single and video for Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) is the S**. Rounding out my top three is my Monday morning go to track, I honestly listened to it like 48 times just to keep me sane. Big shout out to N*E*R*D – Everybody Nose remix with Kanye West and Lupe.
Honrable Mention to hands down my “guilty” pleasure of week – the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Hey Ne Ne, you go girl!
I’m a little late catching on, but Band of Horses! I “rediscovered” them awhile back and I could listen to “Detlef Schrempf” on repeat for the rest of my life and be happy. Love them on the Nick and Norah soundtrack, and one of the old OC mix tapes.
Quantum of Solace is barreling atop my Must List at breakneck speeds like only a Bond flick can. Who better than the incomparable Daniel Craig to continue his refreshingly human portrayal of Bond in this first-ever true sequel?
1 Kings of Leon official ‘Sex on Fire’ video (http://kingsofleon.com/pages/video)–Caleb Followill writhing on a bed + random chickens= awesome
2 ‘Only by the Night’ Kings of Leon:released almost 3 months ago, it gets better with every listen. The rest of the music on my iPod feels neglected.
3 Shiba Inu puppycam (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/shiba-inu-puppy-cam): Even if you’re having a bad day, watching these 6 will cheer you up!
1.) Elizabeth Banks in Zack and Miri Make a Porno – For the sheer fact that I think it’s the first time anyone has ever actually acted in Kevin Smith movie.
2.)Jane Lynch in Role Models – She flat out stole this movie from some pretty heavy hitters.
3.)”Sheena Is A Punk Rocker” – covered by Thurston Moore and Jemina Pearl as seen on Gossip Girl. One word: Awesome.
FABLE II. This game is great. There are so many similarities to real life. So far I’ve: gotten fat, gotten married, had a child due to unprotected honeymoon sex, gotten divorced (and she took the kid) and found out she died, had people of both sexes fall in love with me, bought 3 houses and gotten arrested for sleeping in someone elses house. Plus, my dog loves me regardless of what I do.
THE SHIELD! We’re down to the final two episodes, and I have no clue how it’s going to turn out! This final season has definitely lived up to the hype!
Oh, and also David Cook’s new self-titled CD, which hits next Tuesday. The 30-second tracks I’ve heard so far are SPECTACULAR!!! “Declaration” and “Lie” should definitely be released quickly! November 18th can’t come soon enough. . . .
1. Style Network’s THE DISH. With hardly anyone noticing, this snarky half-hour recap of the week’s fashion and reality shows has become one a hilarious, can’t-miss TV must.
2. SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK: Heart-breaking and mind-blowing at the same time, featuring an extraordinary cast and perhaps the most unfettered version of Charlie Kaufman’s vision ever committed to film.
3. Wonkette.com: Their political shenanigans and witty commentary got me through the recent election cycle.
The West Wing on Bravo. The network began airing reruns on Monday, starting from the first episode. Between the amazing writing and the parallels of President Santos to President-elect Barack Obama, the series is still worthy of all of its Emmys.

The conference room role-playing scene on “The Office” was classic. Now we know how Dunder-Mifflin really sells paper. I have to say, it’s probably the funniest scene so far this season.
Joanna Garcia as Megan Smith on “Privileged”. That show is so refreshing and fun, and she is PERFECT in that character. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
“THE TIME MACHINE: An Interactive Adventure.” It’s an awesome “Choose Your Own Adventure”-type video series on YouTube…like a game with videos. It’s SO COOL. Here’s the link:
or it’s at the main video on:

Hope you guys love it as much as I do!!
The song, “Let It Rock” by Kevin Rudolf featuring Lil’ Wayne. I can’t get enough of that song right now!
My absolute Must at the moment?
Moral Orel: Season 3.
What started out at as a hilarious and often times disturbing adult take on Davey and Goliath, has evolved into one of television’s (and definitely Adult Swim’s) most poignant and soulful series – and it’s just a 15 minute cartoon!
TIME MACHINE!!! Chad, Matt & Rob. http://www.chadmattandrob.com created an amazing interactive adventure. so amazing. lol!
My Must List this week …
1. The ‘Twilight’ soundtrack. It’s on constant repeat on my iTunes, my iPod and in my car.
2. ‘The West Wing’. I’m finally getting round to watching season six and seven, and loving the Santos/Obama comparisons.
3. ‘Friday Night Lights’. It just keeps getting better and better and I can’t believe it doesn’t have better ratings.
“It’s a new day” the new song about Obama’s win by will.i.am. My kids are even more obsessed than I am with it!
– Hellboy II: The Golden Army on DVD and Blu-Ray – Improving visually on the first installment, this “Hellboy” looks like “Pan’s Labyrinth”’s distant superhero cousin. It was one of the better comic book movies this summer, so why didn’t it do better at the box office?
– The trailer for Disney/Pixar’s “Up” – It looks like a beautiful blend of Pixar and Hayao Miyazaki, and I can’t wait to see how it looks in digital 3D.
– Scrubs: The Complete Seventh Season on DVD – It was a relatively weak (as well as strike-shortened) season for the usually stellar show, but there’s no other television hospital I love to visit more than Sacred Heart.
#1. Someone please put SHELDON from the Big Bang Theory. I know you just did a review of the show, but he is the heart and soul of that show, and he just steals every scene he is in.
#2. Christina Applegate in Samantha Who? SHe is so funny and has stayed so positive throughout her cancer, she is an inspiration to all women out there…survivors or plain worriers.
#3. Jason Street from FNL. The scene with him singing to his baby last week made me weep like a baby. I will be sad to see him go….but all good things must come to an end, I guess.
Christmas music in november. I know it’s cheesy, but it makes me so happy! Oddly enough, it enrages me in stores, but rocks my iPod all day long.
I seem to be completely obsessed with Taylor Swift this week — used her new release “Fearless” as an excuse to buy her first CD too, and have had them both on constant replay. Even though I’ve got 30 years on the girl, and a daughter her age, I find her songs refreshing and relatable and catchy as hell.
1) “Hellboy II: The Golden Army” 3-Disc Special Edition DVD – Awesome!
2) “Scrubs” Season 7 DVD – So glad it’s coming back for an 8th season.
3) “Family Guy” Still makes me laugh.
Amy, I think we might be soulmates. “Sex on Fire” was my suggestion last week…or at least my intended one. I really have no idea if I actually got around to posting, but it’s the best song on radio right now. I’ve been making CDs as Christmas presents and it’s on every single one of them!
I agree with “Sex on Fire” – I heard it for the first time on SNL and watched it repeatedly.
Secondly, I don’t know if this is new this week in the US as well, but HBO Canada just started airing “Summer Heights High”, a mockumentary about high school life in Australia. One actor, Chris Lilley, plays three of the main roles and it is absolutely hysterical! It’s The Office Goes to High School – a must watch!!
Lastly, I have to say “Privileged” on the CW. I’ve been watching faithfully from the beginning and it’s so great. For anyone missing the combination of heart and humour that Gilmore Girls provided to the network, definitely check it out.
Those darned Christmas commercials. They are putting me in the holiday spirit a wee bit early
