That’s an awesome video! I know I love Eliza Dushku, and “Dollhouse” (http://www.hollywood.com/tv/Dollhouse/5220438)is one of the more interesting shows I’ve had my eye on, and I work for Hollywood.com so I should know! I have been antsy in my pantsy ever since I first learned of Joss and Eliza’s reunion. The more I see and hear Dollhouse, the more enthralled I become. Is it 2009 yet?
Ummm, that’s obsessively checking.
In my excitement I may have lost a few brain cells.
So far, the new TV season has been a bust. All my hopes for a new show to watch rest with this one. Joss Whedon rules!

i like eliza but it looks a lot like Alias with all the costumes and pretending to be different people, it just has the sci-fi twist, I just wonder if maybe Joss should have created another horror based series. It seems like he has far more success with horror than sci-fi.

I will have to see more to make up my mind about this show. I think the idea is sorta stupid actually, and also the chances for this show to last more than 1 season is slim. I wish she had just done the Faith TV show instead, but alas it’s not going to happen.
I’m totally in. The Comic-Con panel was sparse (no footage) but the audience could tell that Joss and Eliza and Tahmoh Penikett (from Battlestar Galactica) was psyched for it to start.
Carrie, your comment about Eliza only playing snarky b*tches shows that you must not have watched “Tru Calling”, in which she played a very smart, sweet, caring young woman. And since when has Joss ever failed to have new, fun ideas and always interesting characters? Hopefully Fox won’t screw it up, and this show will be around for awhile.

nothing too remarkable in the trailer. i’ll still tune in, but i really don’t think eliza dushku is going to able to carry a tv show. i hated tru calling, and, overall, aside from playing faith in buffy, i haven’t seen her perform in a way that would indicate she deserves her own show. here’s hoping i’m wrong though!
Ok, but where is Tahmoh in this trailer? Is it just me, or does it seem as if his scenes were reshot with the other guy?
I’ve been eagerly awaiting this because once Battlestar Galactica ends, I need a new show to carry me through. Plus, Joss Whedon is GOD!

It look allright, and I love Joss, but this too will get cancelled.
It seems not only very “been there done that” but basically, it is about 5 different sci-fi stories in one. And, having said that, they have all been done before.
BOO for lack of originality, and boo for not taking the audience seriously.
Chuck, I think you’re being too hard on it with saying it looks like 5 different movie concepts. I think you can pretty much say any show/film is 5 different stories you’ve seen before. The concept was thought up because of a discussion over lunch about Eliza being told to be this and be that, and/or be one specific thing all the time. Joss took a potty break, had an idea, and voila! Dollhouse. We all know Joss explores the human condition better than pretty much ANYONE – and this concept allows for MUCH exploration. I’m for one PSYCHED. Sure, I’m not big on the concept, but it’s what can come from it that I am excited for. Yes, I ended the sentence with a preposition – deal with it.
This trailer not only appeals to Whedon fans but also to the casual viewer I’d think – the previous one was definitely more geared to fans of the Whedon. And oooh, I get chills at the end of this one every time. Good stuff.

It’s Joss, of course, I’m in! Really cool trailer. Two questions. Where the frak was Amy Acker? Love her too. Anybody else notice there was no mention of Firefly? Buffy. Check. Angel. Check. No Firefly. Guess FOX wants everyone to forget their mishandling of Joss’s last brilliant effort.
