I don’t understand… What does a 7-year-old U2 video, which, let’s face it, is kind of generic, though the song is good, have to do with the Election?

Hate to be a nitpicker, but in the United States we pronounce our H’s, your Caption should read “A Historic.”

Thanks, bb. I was about to nitpick the same thing! Putting an “an” there just perpetuates a seriously annoying grammatical tic that many people unfortunately think is correct.

@ bb and malie: You are, of course, correct — and I used the wrong adjective form as well (‘historical’ is used to describe something related to history; I meant ‘historic’). Thanks for the heads up. No more posting after midnight for me.
