Looks like last season’s Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas hasn’t given out her "final rose" just yet: Her bachelor of choice, snowboarder Jesse Csincsak, announced on the couple’s website today that Deanna broke off their engagement.
No really—he literally announced it via YouTube, where he explained that Deanna gave him the ol’ "I love you, but I’m not in love with you" spiel. It looked like he was about to start crying in the video, too. Ouch. Jesse will also be speaking to Extra tonight about the split, and according to a press release from the entertainment news show, "[Jesse] now wonders whether Deanna was in it for the publicity, telling Extra that in recent times, ‘the only time she was touchy-feely with me was around the cameras.’"
The reality stars were planning to walk down the aisle next May, so there goes yet another televised wedding opportunity in which Chris Harrison can offer a live play-by-play (darn!). Guess this means we’re going to see even more of Trista! Ryan! and baby Max! during Jason Mesnick’s upcoming Bachelor season. Unless, of course he’s reconsidering now that Deanna’s single again…

I never watched the show, but the guy actually seems pretty sad about it. This is the first time I actually feel bad for someone that was on that show!
I kind of feel for the guy, he seemed decent (I only watched the finally). Poor guy does seem really sad. Hopefully some nice girl will see him and want to pick up the pieces.
They had me fooled… but it looks like Deanna not only crushed Jason’s dreams but now Jesse’s — kid’s not going to recover from this for a while. I’d only feel better for him if he seemed to know how it went wrong. Something tells me maybe this show needs to end…
I literally just watched the reruns for this season LAST NIGHT! That’s the last time I invest my time, heart, and feelings in reality tv love…oh, who am I kidding! I love it!
she should have picked jeremy.
Well, no big surprise there. She’s just now realizing that they are 2 totally different people? Puh leezze!
She should’ve picked Jeremy anyways.
They both were hung up on themselves.
What a shocker….she just seemed so genuine and real. NOT!
Not really affected, because I never really believed Jesse was her no#1 choice. I always believed it was Graham that she really wanted, but he didn’t fawn all over her. I mean, what was that note all about?? Anyway, I think of the guys left maybe she felt like she bonded the best with Jesse and thats why she chose him. I don’t think she ever really loved him. Heck she was still feelin’ BRAD(she mentioned him EVERY episode, lol).
Boo-f**king hoo. If he had any class, he wouldn’t be posting this pathetic clip on Youtube. The guy wants fame, and some sympathy pu$$y.
Deanna is a punk…She is all about herself and I do believe that she as completely into Graham and couldn’t stand that he didn’t fall all over her. She will never find happiness until she can get over herself little. Good Luck Jesse, you deserve better.
It’s ol’, not ‘ole.
Who cares?
DeAnna’s a tool who is completely self-absorbed. I’m sure her “heart is breaking” over yet another failed relationship. Jesse, trust me, you’ll be better off for this. And somewhere Jeremy is having a good laugh!
your comment reminded me of all the times I rolled my eyes when she’d say “It’s breakin’ my heart!” Thanks for the laugh!
Their showmance just was not meant to be. Boo Hoo. Sadness.
Jesse, you are WAY better off.
DeAnna was nothing but a fame-whore.
wow, jesse putting that on youtube…very pathetic, what a loser
Damn, she just tore right into the poor kids heart. I’m sure I’ll find someone new, he’s a doll. But the pain for now, sucks I’m sure.
i never thought that they would last. She had better chemistry with Jason, Jeremy, and Graham than she had with him.
like I said before, I don’t think the show works anymore with long storylines, so turn it into a procedural–kind of like a live-action Superfriends, but a tad darker. Then you can rotate different characters in and out, you can have one set of villains and one set of heroes, and you won’t get bored with a story that’s going absolutely nowhere.
whoops, I don’t know how that happened–I was leaving a comment for the Heroes story. My bad–disregard the previous message.
this kid is no dummy. total trying to score another deal to be the bachelor. camera whoring and fake tears. he is very media savvy. he went on the show to promote his girlfriend’s glove line called zero gloves. he didn’t have good intentions.
I KNEW these two wouldn’t last. The other guy she dumped for Jesse, what’s-his-name? I thought HE was the guy Deanna would choose, not the snowboarder. They had NO chemistry. This doesn’t surprise me at all.
I guess I am dumb – I TOTALLY thought they would last. I guess it really was Graham, but that just shows she only wants what she can’t have, and THAT shows that she is completely immature and not ready for marriage anyway.
Well I watched both seasons and think she is pretty stupid. Maybe Jesse has crocadial tears but when ever you are the dumpee it stings. I don’t think you will be seeing much of her now that they are not getting married.
You need another category for your poll – “Glad” – I thought Jesse was creepy, immature, insincere, and a loser. I’m so happy she finally woke up and realized he is not her ideal guy!
This cracks me up. Have any of these couples lasted other than Trista and Ryan? I predict this every time and I’m rarely wrong. What a joke.
She picked the wrong one
I really feel badly for Jesse. I wasn’t sure he was the right guy for her, but I believe *he* thought so and is truly broken-hearted. As for her, they toned down some of her snarkier aspects in the Bachelorette season but she had quite a few witchy moments during the first Bachelor season she was on. I think she is just a princess, who needs the limelight. I do believe she was really into Graham, though, and I have just one thing to say about that: run, Graham, run.
I love this show. I was glad she picked the guy that was the unusual pick. It was like she picked him for who he was on the inside. Now that she broke up with him, is she the female Brad. Talk about leading him on!!!!!
