What’s on your Must List this week? I’m rather enjoying the emergence of Josh Bernstein — and Josh Bernstein’s adorable flappy hats and facial hair — on the aptly titled new Discovery Channel series Into the Unknown with Josh Bernstein. Would I have still liked last night’s episode if I hadn’t been imagining Josh as a solo Amazing Race player who’s so far ahead of the pack, he’s resorted to giving oral presentations about culture and history himself in lieu of the Phil Keoghan voiceover? I’ll find out, next Monday at 10, when Josh seeks out "The Lost Gold of Timbuktu."
Your turn! Which pop-cultural escapes are on your Must List this week?List up to three of your current faves inmovies/TV/music/books/games/online. Please include your e-mail address,in case we choose your submission for the magazine. Deadline isThursday, September 4, at 10 a.m. ET.

1. The return of Prison Break!
2. Star Wars: The Force Unleased demo on PS3 and XBox360
3. The Office Season 4 DVDs
1. The return of Gossip Girl–my all-time fave guilty pleasure. Pretty people with problems–and insane fashion!
2. Bottle Shock–cool true story of the rise of Napa Valley wine, with a superb performance by Alan Rickman.
3. The Wednesday Sisters–if you are a) a woman, b) someone who was alive during the late 60′s, c) interested in writing, or d) any or all of the above, read this fabulous new novel IMMEDIATELY.
I’ve been googling VP nominee Sarah Palin and laughing my butt off since last Friday.
The Verve and their new album Forth. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be on my must list for many more weeks. So you might want to skip reading my next few submissions.
Top Gear on BBC America. Last night’s show about their road trip from Miami to New Orleans was the funniest thing I’ve seen in months.
1. Swingtown (series?) finale
2. Gossip Girl
3. US Open
The Coen brothers. They have oscars on the shelf for “No Country For Old Men”, “Burn After Reading” comes out next friday, and they are about to start filming “A Serious Man”.
* Mario Kart for Wii!
* Burn Notice
* The fake movie previews at the beginning of “Tropic Thunder” (especially the one with Robert Downey Jr. and Toby Maguire)
1)Who is M.I.A and why am I listening to her songs over, and over again?(Answer: Because they are awesome, duh)*Paper Airplanes-song heard during Pineapple Express, check the song out*
2)YouTube videos of Sarah Palin: especially McCain’s wandering eyes, and Jon Stewart’s opinion on the surprising choice for VP.
3)Bones Season 4(Here’s hoping Bones rebounds after a lackluster second half of Season 3)
Got to agree…
1. Season 4 “The Office”
2. Watch Instantly on Nextfix. Got to refresh on “Heroes” before season 3 begins later this month
Reading the reviews on Rottentomato.com for “Disaster Movie,” which is currently at a “0% fresh” rating. Love it.
1)God I miss LOST!!! I go out to YouTube just to watch Skater music videos (lame, I know). I’m looking forward to Fringe to partially fill the hole in my heart. I hope it doesn’t suck.
2)Twilight series – can’t wait for the movie! (sorry HP-HBP) Sexy vampires dazzle me frequently. I’m obsessed (did I mention I’m married with 4 kids?).
3)I’m diggin’ Finger 11 and 3 Doors Down. Evanescence is a huge fave too. My son told me to check out Skillet, but I avoid anything to do with cooking. Maybe Flyleaf.
4)Sorry, had to mention Dane Cook – he’s a Beast!
After only one episode….I am hooked on Gavin and Stacey on BBC America (to be ruined soon by NBC in an attempt to strike lightening twice a la the office)
and
Mandrake (with english subtitles on HBO on deman)…brazilian drama…. so good!!!
Rebecca Hall in “Vicky Christina Barcelona”. Despite being up against the new Woody “It girl” Scarlett Johansson and stars of both American and Spanish cinema Javier Bardem & Penelope Cruz, it is Ms. Hall who steals the show. She plays essentially the “Woody” role in the film, without falling into the trap of mimicry. Furthermore, she proves equally adept in comedy, in her caustic reactions to Christina and Juan Antonio, as well as drama, as she realizes her longing–but inability to act–for passion and heat, not only with Juan Antonio but also in her life. With “Dorian Gray” and “Frost/Nixon” on the horizon, her star is on the rise.
