Watching last night’s episode of Project Runway — click here for Missy Schwartz’s delightful recap — I caught a funny little mistake during the ad-break poll segment (see screengrab below). Unless, somehow, the fashion world considers 37 a greater number than 47. (Not entirely implausible…considering what passes for a "medium" at Zara anymore.)
Anyhow, thinking about it this morning, I realized Bravo actually got the whole question wrong. Here’s what they should’ve asked:
Which needs to end immediately?
A. Jerell exposing his chest.
B. The overly tanned imp saying ‘licious.’
C. Suede using the third person.
Go ahead and give your answer in the comments section below.–Michael Slezak

Yep- caught that last night. I asked my roommate “is that what Bravo hoped the answer would be?”
Yep, noticed this too. I’ve also noticed them making this same mistake on other polls during Top Chef. I thought it had something to do with east coast vs. west coast feeds, but I think Bravo just doesn’t know how to handle anything live.
You for got “D: All of the above.”
They made a mistake last season as well, the applauding soundtrack played behind a screen that showed the poll options but not the results. I don’t remember what the question was, but I DO remember wanting to know which one was actually voted!
Suede still wins (in the real world at least).
Is it me or does it seem like none of these contestants have what it takes. . .i have YET to see anything that has been OMG so freaking good. I think they have crapy designers. . .and i dont seem to like any of them. BUT THE OVERLY TANNED IMP HAS TO GOO>>> HES DISGUSTING!
All three are too awful to bear. Jerell looks like he’s dying, he’s so scrawny, Blayne and Suede are completely ridiculous caricatures.
the only reason i actually like blayne at all is that he made fun of stella! stella, whether or not she had a decent dress last episode, was SOO horrid the first episode that she deserves to go! not only did she pick a predictable, fabric-like material, she spent her whole time complaining and turned what should have been relatively easy to pass off as a frock into a garbage dump.
Yeah, I remember it definitely happened during the first phone poll on the last Top Chef.
Oh. My. God. The whole “-licious” thing is driving me batsh*t-insane-licious. Now, I’m not hating on “-licious” itself, exactly. I don’t mind “bootylicious” – Destiny’s Child rocked it pretty well. But it’s so old at this point that it’s not all fresh and hip to add it to stuff, and it’s just obnoxious when Blayne keeps trying to force it. (Writing it on his model’s leg?! Poor girl.) And even if it weren’t stale and overdone, wtf is “girl-licious” even supposed to mean?? Maybe all that radiation is frying his brain a bit as well.
OK. Stop spoiling the Project Runway eliminations by revealing the identity of the cast off person on the HOME PAGE. You don’t do it with any other show. Talk about it all you want in a review or feature. It’s fair game there. But when I’m robbed of my choice to read or not to read when it comes to spoilers, I start thinking about avoiding this site altogether until the show’s over.
That is unless you WANT less traffic here.
Weird!! On the west coast version I DVR’ed, the Suede option was circled as it should have been.
Slightly related, I think it’s hilarious that the tannest designer of the season is from Seattle. And filming began in May? Who needs sun when modern technology can keep you tan-a-licious year-round! Go on with your tan self, crazy Blayne!
They also used “crazier” (comparing two) rather than the correct “craziest,” failing at math AND grammar.
I can’t decide between b and c…they’re both OBNOXIOUS!!!
