What Hillary Clinton should do next... in primetime

Clintonbrossisters_lEW has called the 2008 Democratic primary race "the best thing to happen to TV drama since what’s-her-name shot J.R.," so what if you aren’t ready to let Hillary Clinton go? I’d love to see her forgo any additional appearances on Monday Night RAW, and opt for a nice, classy cameo on Brothers & Sisters this fall. She and Rob Lowe’s Sen. Robert McCallister, who failed to secure the Republication nomination on the ABC show, could commiserate at some charity event… We’d just ask for a reason for Nora, Sarah, and Kevin to be there with Kitty — and of course, an open bar.

I’m no fan of HRC but I’d like to see her on TLC’s What Not to Wear ’cause those pantsuits are atrocious. Ooh, too bad ABC canceled Extreme Makeover, the not-home edition. Or Fox’s “The Swan”

  • Stephanie T.

Facially her problems are her jowles and her facial moles. She can get them removed and possibly have a face lift, but nothing too extreme. And yeah, the pants suits have to be nixed. I’d try a Jones New York skirt set or just a basic shell with pants and no jacket.

  • GrowUp

There is something wrong with a world where comments about Ms. Clinton’s appearance are made and her accomplishments considered secondary. It is especially disheartening to see another woman pick her apart in this manner.
Obama has big ears. Why not comment on that? Oh, wait. He is a MAN. Therefore, he must be taken more seriously and his appearance not commented on. Pfffft.

  • Shyea!

I agree with you GrowUp! AND her hair looks dumb, too!

  • Eric Friedmann

Hillary should do what all other political losers do when it’s all over; host SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!

  • harry

    Brillient!!! make it happen!

  • Yo Yo

Hey Grow Up–your comments are akin to stating that every person who doesn’t like Obama must be a racist. And what exactly are HRC’s accomplishments, aside from being really good at firing travel agents? Oh, she was first lady–that must mean Betty Ford, Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush are equally as qualified to be president.
The point being, this is a light-hearted ENTERTAINMENT website, so take your political comments to Huffington’s website and mope there.

  • Talaneus

Why is she qualified? She is for one a two term senator, she has been involved in government for over 30 years, she has the best ideas for America. Oh wait, I am sorry, is the idiot population of America afraid of a smart, powerful, and dare I say attractive woman leading this country.
This is exactly why the best candidate is not winning, because people like all of you allow your sexist and idiotic beliefs to go on a witch hunt against her.
Barack Obama is a failure who doesn’t know how to do anything but say empty words and slap his racist wife on the rear-end; McCain would be a third term Bush; Hillary is still the best and most qualified candidate, but I am so sorry that she is a woman.
If you people want change, then it is fantastic that you are letting the same sexist beliefs stick around in 2008; if you want change, than stop hindering America and judging a person based on a perception of their appearance that you got from the idiots over at FoxNews.

  • Yo Yo

Talaneus, time to get over it. Again, why is that everyone who doesn’t like HRC is automatically sexist? As I said, that’s same as saying that everyone who doesn’t like Obama is racist, or people who don’t like McCain are ageist. Agree to disagree, but you cannot deny that those pantsuits are as hideous as Katherine Harris’ makeup.

  • Talaneus

This has nothing to do with Katherine Harris. All you just did was prove my point about the sexism; why didn’t you choose to compare her pantsuits to President Bush’s face. Oh and by the way, I don’t think you would even know Katherine Harris had it not been for the Recount movie last week.
Age, sex, and race should not be a matter of who is president; however, people seem to mind that she is a woman, people seem to mind that McCain is old, yet no one wants to offend by putting down Obama. I mean really, his wife can get away with her “whitey” rant, he can get away with calling Bill Clinton his “brother,” he and his wife can do the fist bump, did anyone see his AIPAC speech where he said basically that he once knew a Jew. Oh wait, I am sorry, the man can do no wrong, my question is, what has he done right.

  • Stephanie T.

Kat Harris was an airhead who wore too much makeup. Hill is an intelligent woman who has a accomplished a lot, but I’m sorry the hair and the suits have to go.

  • Yo Yo

Yes Talaneus, as a successful WOMAN, who’s an independent, by the way, I MUST be a sexist. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways. And how old are you that you must reduce yourself to juvenile rants by calling people idiots? You are clearly a Hillary supporter and likely a liberal, yet you have no respect or tolerance for other people’s opinions than your own. Gee, I wonder why we don’t agree as to candidates.

  • B Ro

Oh Telaneus get over it, your candidate lost.

  • Talaneus

    B Ro
You can tell me to get over it when you have the ability to properly spell my name, which is two lines below you.

  • B Ro

Wow, TALANEUS, what a comeback. Boy, you’ve shown me.
Wait, I better be careful, the use of “boy” must mean I’m sexist right? Because everyone is who doesn’t like Hillary, even if they are WOMEN!
So let’s try now that I’ve spelled your name right–GET OVER IT! SHE LOST! MOVE ON!
And when you see Hillary, tell her to stop seeing the softer side of Sears.

  • nunya

i like both obama and clinton. i think they’re both brilliant and can lead our country. though i’d never vote for mccain, as i am a democrat, i think he’s an american hero and seems like an all around decent man. now, can we get back to talking about entertainment?

  • AnthonyCW

I don’t know why you guys had to go and get messy here… back to the topic at hand, it would be AWESOME if Hillary actually did that. Sounds like a instant classic TV moment!
