I mentioned earlier this week that I’ve already seen Keanu Reeves’ latest, Street Kings (featuring Jay Mohr, Reeves, and Forest Whitaker, pictured). But I just clicked through our 24-film-deep role call gallery for the guy, and was shocked to realize that I’ve seen all but three of the movies. (More interesting than what those are, is what they’re not: The Replacements, Sweet November, and The Lake House.) The point is, I never set out to be an expert on Keanu Reeves, but apparently, I kinda am. Have you experienced that? If so, with whom?
P.S. You can totally watch Point Break on hulu.

I’ve seen every movie (willingly or not) that Kevin Spacy has ever made since his first appearance as a subway punk in Mike Nichol’s HEARTBURN (1986). He is definetely one of my favorite actors of today!
I have. Some I purposefully keep track of, and some I don’t but end doing it anyhow…
On purpose:
Julia Roberts
Tom Cruise
Reese Witherspoon
Renee Zellwegger
Nicole Kidman
Lauren Graham
Unintentional, but welcomed:
Amy Adams (from sporadic tv guest spots to her DELICIOUS role in “Enchanted”)
George Clooney
Vivica A. Fox
Vanessa Williams
Jensen Ackles
Wentworth Miller
I’m not sorry to say that I have seen ALL of the movies in your Keanu Reeves list. We used to make Keanu Reeves weekend when I was working at the videostore! (You should see The Replacements, it’s a surprisingly entertaining movie!!)
For some reasons, I have followed Kirsten Dunst career closely since she is the same age has me.
i haven’t missed a reese witherspoon movie yet! actually, maybe i shouldn’t be so proud of that…
NineDaves, I’ll pretend I didn’t read that. Meanwhile, I suggest you start drinking heavily and try to forget her!
I think I have unintentionally seen most of Mark Wahlberg’s films. And when I really stop to think about it, I just plan enjoy Mark Wahlberg! I’d see him in anything – put him on the list!
Johnny Depp. I’ve been obsessed since Edward Scissorhands and seen virtually all of his movies, even the lousy ones (hello, Pirates 3).
Will Smith…. I’ve seen everything!
Keanu–the hubby had to promise to love, honor, and sit through every Keanu movie ever made.
Jessica Alba. And that has NOTHING to do with the fact that she is such a hot chick! I truly think she is going to prove she is a great actress,aw hell, who am I kidding? I just wanna see her rock that ‘Dark Angel’ outfit again…lol.
The other day I was organizing my DVD collection and realized that I own a TON of Winona Ryder movies: Reality Bites, Heathers, Dracula, Little Women, Edward Scissorhands, Girl Interrupted, Beetlejuice, Great Balls of Fire… It’s really weird, cuz I’m not really a fan of hers. I guess she just has a nice resume!
Into the Blue Part 2, yall? It COULD happen!!!!
Ryan Phillipe. I don’t know why, but this guy always, i mean always, revs my engine. Good or bad….i have all his films.
Edward Norton ( I think I own every film he has ever bene in, great actor!) and Wentworth Miller
James Remar, Adam Baldwin and Diane Lane. I saw Remar in the Warriors as a kid and followed his movies and tv roles since then. It wasn’t until I saw him recently on BSG that it hit me I’d seen him in just about everything.
Adam Baldwin’s first movie “The Bodyguard” and later “DC Cab” became two of my childhood staples. After seeing him in Full Metal Jacket and Firefly, I kept wondering why dude’s face was so familiar. It’s because I’d seen just about everything this journeyman’s ever done. Nothing beats his role as “Jayne Cobb”, but if you see him in the Bodyguard you can understand why he’s become THE character actor.
As for Diane Lane, I crushed on her for years after her rain soaked kiss in “Streets of Fire”. I’ve seen most of her movies, but didn’t realize who she was until a year or two ago. In fact, it wasn’t until Popwatch that I bothered to find out the rain kisser was her!
Hugh Grant…except for American Dreamz, and The Englishman who went up a hill….i found I haven’t actually really missed any of his movies (including “Extreme Measures” with Gene Hackman).
I actually like Grant, but I didn’t set out for this to happen…it just did.
Daniel Day-Lewis, every film ever and always!
Betsy Russell. When my brother challenged me to rent all the bad movies I could find, she kept showing up. And then she showed up in the last two Saw movies. I couldn’t escape her clutches. Private School was good though.
John Cusack – I will see anything that he is in up to and including the lackluster “Serendipity”.
Molly Shannon. The best being her “heartbreaking” turn in Wet Hot American Summer.
Yahoo Serious. I’ve seen all but three of his movies.
Oh wait. He’s only made three movies.
the only ones i can think of right now are julia roberts, nicole kidman, sandra bullock, hugh grant and john cusack. i’m sure there are others though.
i dont follow actors- i follow directors… i meant that as snobby as i wrote it lol
Heath Ledger…I wasn’t a huge fan but I had definitely been following his career. A fact made all too clear when he passed on.
heh…if steve mcqueen were alive today, i’d probably be considered a stalker. i even forgive him for “the magnificent seven”.
val kilmer and kurt russell. the more you see, the more you realize they are probably the most underrated actors of their time. “the thing” or “the salton sea”, anyone? i dare you to not love kilmers’ turn as doc holiday in “tombstone”.
HELEN SLATER
Supergirl
The Secret of my Success
The Legend of Billie Jean
Ruthless People
For me, I unwittingly have followed Julia Roberts career, (originally) to see if the ‘hype’ surrounding her performances (Erin Brokovich, My Best Friend’s Wedding) was justified. I can no longer use this as an excuse. . seeing as I’ve watched Mary Reilly, Charlie Wilson’s War, and Runaway Bride all in the span of a few months. I guess I AM a fan after all.
Joss Whedon. But I knew I was doing it.
Knowingly
Alan Rickman Johnny Depp Zachary quinto (seen all the tv shows, I know he’s not a movie actor)
Unknowingly
Simon Pegg Christain Bale Steve Carell and a couple more I can’t think of off the top of my head
