It’s somehow fitting that Antonio Sabato Jr.’s birthday is February 29. I think about him roughly once every four years, but when I do, it’s a happy occasion. He takes me back to my freshman year in college, when I learned one of life’s tough lessons: Not everyone grew up on CBS soaps. My roommate was a General Hospital fan, so it was bye-bye Guiding Light for me. Sabato, 36, made the transition less painful than expected. Below, some of his finest work in a wifebeater: Janet Jackson’s "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" video.
You’re welcome.

Aww, when I was about 16, my friend and I went to the autoshow and he was the guest that year. We stood in line to get his picture and autograph and I have to say- he was better looking in person. He had an amazing smile and sweet and patient with every single person! I still have that picture and we looked great together
As corny of an actor as he might be, he was at least kind. AND HOT. happy birthday!
Yes, he was really a hottie back then.
But I never realized that Djimon Hounsou was in that video, too. He aged well!
Ummm… he’s 36 not 38… you can’t be a leap baby and be an age not divisible by 4 on a leap year.
Ward: I was just thinking the same thing. You know, you would think EW could do some math. Maybe put them on “Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”
Mandi, thanks for posting this link. He is the hottest thing ever in this video.
Well, thank you Mandi ! The song is kind of blah, but wow, does Antonio Sabato Jr look great ! He doesn’t do much in the video, but well… so what ?
Time to bring back Brenda and Jagger!
Wow, I can’t believe someone else grew up watching CBS soaps besides me. Did you also watch As the World Turns, Mandi?
Dear Mandi-pandi, if ASJr was born on a leap year, shouldn’t he be like 36 or 40 this year and not 38, considering that a leap year happens every FOUR years and that 38 is not divisible by 4 ergo that’s not ASJr’s true age?! Someone’s telling a lah-aaay!!! Someone’s pant’s on fah-ire!! hehehe
I fixed my typo. Thanks for catching it.
Anyone remember “Weak for Love” by Daniel Lavoie – his theme song with the chick before Brenda? Sigh….
Happy B-Day Jagger!!!
Jagger was HOT. But he was also super hot as Alonzo Solace on Earth 2, the best show ever…until Lost, anyway.
I also saw his age listed as 36 elsewhere — and given that he was on TV when I was in school and I am 39, he’s 40 minimum. But, at such a HOT 40, who’s complaining???
a sad reminder of what we’ve lost….Herb Ritts and my youth
