Never Not Funny – This podcast is excatly that, always funny. Even when I don’t care what they are talking about I am fasinated by what Jimmy Pardo and friends have to say about it. It truely is the fastest hour in Podcasting.
Break-A-Leg – This internet sitcom is filling the void for me during the strike. Its may only be a couple of min a week but there is always new content on Monday. It always a great laugh and you can see the touches of shows like Arrested Development.
Mr. Diety – another great online sitcom that shows the rest how its done. Season 2 of it is just underway and I think that shows like this is showing us just what the future of entertainment is going to be.
Kelly Clarkson’s “My December”
I have a suggestion for “MUST AVOID.” That would be Marcus Theaters. The chain released a statement today announcing that it would not show Sweeney Todd at any of its movie theaters, because it could not reach an agreement with Paramount over the costs to show the film. What a joke.
Biting the Wax Tadpole: Confessions of a Language Fanatic, by Elizabeth Little
Quirky languages, grammar AND pop-culture references? What’s not to love?
Life On Mars is back – hooray! I’ve been waiting such a long time – I can’t wait to see where this trippy show is going to go! This is an excellent show to enjoy while the strike starts to take its toll!
“Snowglobe” on ABC Family. It’s 10 times better than “Holiday in Handcuffs.”
DVD – The Simpsons Movie comes out tomorrow. The writers succeeded in recapturing the heart and wit of earlier seasons.
Music – Have you heard of Just Off Turner? I don’t think they’re signed but they should be!!!
Books – The Shotgun Rule by Charlie Huston. Elmore Leonard for the next generation…
Did you know that there are 14 libraries in the US for every Starbucks?* Libraries are taken for granted in our culture. Little is known about what life is like working in an American public library. Don Borchert’s “Free For All” gives an unvarnished view of the life of the lowly civil servant who serves up free Internet access and a whole lot more at the neighborhood library. If you are one of those misguided fools who says “It must be great to work in a library – you get to read books all day” Borchert’s book will set you straight.

If there really is a Santa, there will be a Season 1 Mad Men DVD by December 24. I want to believe, really, I do. But if not, I guess Planet Earth will suffice.
abc.com streaming the first season of My So-Called Life. It’s a nice homage to a now defunct great show.
Supernatural…Thursday nights on the CW. My husband and I agree, one of the most underrated and noticed shows currently on! (Catch up on it while they air reruns during the writers strike!)
hulu.com Best distraction at work. Where else can you watch the entire first seasons of Doogie Howser, Roswell, and Arrested Development?!
