Heroes bids an indefinite, strike-mandated adieu when ”Volume 2: Generations" comes to a close tonight. NBC promises in their promo (watch it below) that "two heroes will fall." If this actually means death (and I think it does), I’m pretty sure that Sylar will be dining on Maya’s brains (with some squid-ink pasta and a nice chianti?). I mean, it might just be wishful thinking on my part, but the wonder-twin’s death would bring quick resolution to an unpopular storyline.

i’d bet Elle is going to be one of them. as for the other one, there are so many options i’m not sure.
if you wanna go by the faces of the people they said were gonna die, id say elle- but i heard kristen bell was gonna be on heroes for 13 episodes and she hasnt been on the show for that long… i still think mohinder, molly and mya need to die horrible horrible deaths…

Hopefully Mohinder will bite the bullet. And maybe Maya, Monicah, Micah, or Nikki.
If we are lucky, it will be Maya and the New Orleans girl. But I am thinking Elle will die, as Kristen Bell has a film career to think of.
I think it’ll be Jessica and Maya.
I agree with Deb’s choices (Maya and Elle’s dad) of who it will be, but I hope Suresh dies soon. I can’t stand him, and the fact that he was willing to kill HRG (my favorite character) makes him even more loathsome. Is it wrong to hope Elle dies just so Kristen Bell can find a better part to play elsewhere? I love Kristen and think she’s wasting her talent on a character that could be a lot more interesting. However, I continuously watch with hope that Elle will emerge from the usual 2 minutes of screentime and really do some damage.
Oh please holy Lord, take Mohinder into your heavenly care. While you’re at it, Jessica would be nice. And if there’s room, how ’bout nearly every new character (save Elle) introduced this season, and…you know what? Let’s make a deal, J.C. Just erase the memory of this entire season so far from my memory and spare who you want. I’d care if this season weren’t, well, awful so far.
I heard a rumor awhile back that the two that die are supposed to be Heroes from the very first episode. So I’m betting it will be Mohinder and Nikki.
Matt, I’m with you on your feelings of (super flip-flopper) Mohinder.
I’m going with Maya (who along with Alejandro truly were the Nikki and Paolo of “Heroes”) and Bob…not only is he on Kensei’s hit list, but I’m actually betting Elle does him in due to the reaming he gave her in last week’s episode.

Hate to tell you, but technically, Mohinder is *not* a hero (no powers other than being completely annoying and flip-floppy). So if “2 heroes will fall” is completely accurate, it’s not going to be Mohinder. I was sure Sylar would have taken care of him last season, but alas, I think we’re stuck with him for now.
I don’t see anything too drastic happening, really, since these shows tend to kill off characters no one enjoys. So on that end, Maya is a good bet…and did everyone forget about Adam? Isn’t his story arch about over? Yea, I get the whole “I’ve been evil for hundreds of years just so I could get back at Hiro for being so stupid,” but what else can he bring to the plot? They could also kill off Nathan, who has no only stopped being relevant to the plot, but has some movies lined up and probably doesn’t have time for the show anymore.
Heroes that I hope stay alive:
(I’m not putting Bennet on the list because I figure he’s had his share of death this season…though that would be a crazy twist to kill him off and have it stick this time…)

There seems to be a trend here…anyone who starts with an “M”, I don’t like a whole lot. Though I don’t dislike Matt…I just don’t have strong feelings about him either way. And of course, we can pretty much strike Micah and Molly from the endangered list–you just can’t kill kids on network TV.
Also, I know I’m probably dreaming to hope that both the villains stick around, but…what can I say? They’re some of my very favorite characters–always loved Sylar, and David Anders has been tearing it up as Adam this season. I would really hate to see him go after such a short run!
Maybe it’s wishful thinking but I think it’ll be the wonderless twin and West. In the apology for the show sucking Tim Kring said that some new heroes would not make it. Think of it as a Nikki & Palo type thing. Of course I wouldn’t cry if it were Mohinder either. Personally I like watching the delightfully twisted Elle. Plus I think there is much more to her and Bob’s story.

and maybe mrs. petrelli? she is one of the last of the older generations left, but i still want to know what her power is and why can’t peter use it????….or bob? does he count as a hero? he must…?

I read that one of the death will be a real shocker. It will be a fan favorite.
Just based on the promo I’d say Niki will die in the explosion that Monica and Micha see in the promo. Sylar kills Maya when she finds out her killed her brother. However Mohinder brings her back to life using Claire’s blood.
About my comment about Maya coming back to life that’s just a guess. No spoiler here. I think we’re getting a real death and a temporary one.

Oh, and Peter should die. Okay, I know technically he can’t, unless his head and body are separated, but he’s SO DENSE!
It’s probably already over in the east, but I’m gonna guess anyway, way out here in the mountain zone…. Sylar will die. He was an ok villain in S1. But there is nothing more for him to do. Eat more brains and gain more powers? No, that story’s been done. And the character, a ruthless (if somewhat pathetic) serial killer, is irredeemable. He can’t be turned into a hero. He’s done. Maya, on the other hand, having done so much harm inadvertently, is well positioned for a redemption arc. She’ll stay…. Another death? Nathan Petrelli seems expendable. What’s he done this season? He sort of seems like he would welcome death. Y’know?
Mohinder is done on this show, his character has killed and betrayed H.R.G all for some little girl, makes no sense, KILL HIM ALREADY!
I just finished watching the ep and the two that died (or so we are led to believe) are Nathan and Nikki…Maya was shot, but Mohinder used Claire’s blood to bring her back…Adam Monroe was put somewhere that he can’t escape from, so we may or may not see him again…but with a show like this, its hard to know who is REALLY dead and who isn’t…we’ll see…I’ve learned not to always believe what I see…
on another hand, Sylar had the virus and is now cured…he’s back on full throttle killing machine mode…groovy

No pretenders… Niki bought the massive fire blast and Nathan grabbed the 2/3 rounds to the upper chest. Not gone for sure but… Adam/Kensei is the only other “goner”. He was buried alive by Hiro, though stil breathing near Hiro’s fathers’ burial plot (still ki’kin kids). Micah, Monica, Peter, Noah, Maya – all alive and vibrant.
I’ve seen the last episode of the fall and don’t want to really spoil it (although it has been below). I just need to vent on the downward spiral of Heroes.
1) ENOUGH OF SYLAR: Maybe it’s better that the writers are on strike, I’m tired of the Sylar storyline. Question: isn’t the Sylar storyline reminiscent of just about any daytime soap? Big bad villain wrecks havoc. Villain is killed. Villain comes back from the dead for round two. (i.e. Stefano from Days of our Lives). I’m bored with the guy. We know what he wants; we know what he can do; do we care anymore?
2)INTRODUCE SOME NEW MEANINGFUL CHARACTERS THE RIGHT WAY: The whole Mexican Bobbsey twin angle was a wash. They were annoying, came out of nowhere and were simply the vehicle to re-introduce Sylar. Why not introduce just 1 or 2 new characters slowly into the storyline and gradually bring them into the mix? Make their powers somewhat interesting and see what happens. It’s kinda working for ‘Elle’.
Please! For the love of the almighty in heaven, PLEASE kill Mohinder! He is totally MoHindering the show. His character was annoying as it was, but now it’s just painful.
