I’m going to start by watching the entire run of Friends, Will and Grace and Sex in the City. I was not old enough to watch them when they were on the first time around. After that, I figure American Idol will have started up again and so at least my Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s will be full. Damn producers.
The Sopranos and Weeds and Arrested Development and The L Word and Big Love…. all the shows I missed when I didn’t have showtime or HBO which I can rent or netflix! And totally catch up on more movies!
To cope with the strike, I’ve successfully convinced my girlfriend, despite her initial skepticism, that going through Buffy the Vampire Slayer beginning to end is the way to go. Just finished the tragedy of season two, with Faith and Mayor Wilkins on the way.
I have enough series on DVD to withstand the strike. So far I’ve collected CSI: MIAMI (Seasons 3-5), CSI: NY (Seasons 1-3), MARRIED WITH CHILDREN (1-6), FAMILY GUY (1-3) and THE CIRTIC (complete series). But I give kudos to GUIDING LIGHT for anticipating the strike if it goes past January – their scripts are going all the way through February and CBS for giving Y&R fans an unusual treat: an hour-long recap of OUT OF THE ASHES weeklong storyline they did in late October 2007.
Finally getting into Six Feet Under, re-watching The West Wing, My So-Called Life, and Once & Again
