My vote is still for “Rock of Love” because I know all ya’ll are watching it too!
I live for Brit Pop, and my two favorite artists are releasing albums in the next month, so they’ve released new singles. Girl’s Aloud’s “Sexy NO NO NO” is one of the most propulsively awesome pop songs in recent years and the Sugababes’ “About You Now” is blissful electropop. Darn you, American radio with your need for “hip hop cred.”
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Who knew this show could get any funnier than it’s second season? Whether dropping acid or putting shoe polish on a dumpster baby to make it look Latino, this show demonstrates how unsympathetic depraved people are indeed very amusing.
Torchwood
Kelly Clarson’s “My December”-whether it’s her kitten’s pur on ‘Be Still’ or tiger’s growl on ‘How I Feel’ Kelly proves herself a staggering musician.
Jess from Rock of Love. Bret may not pick her in the end over hungry stripper Heather, but this pink-haired down-to-earth knockout has given the show some of its best sound bites (and a well needed dose of reality).
oops I forgot my e-mail. one more time!

how about “Kitchen Nightmares” – have been watching the original on BBC america, can’t wait for the new “USA” version tomorrow nite.
Also, 30 ROCK…so glad it won something so we can look forward to a complete 2nd season DVD set. YAY.
The Comics Curmudgeon (www.joshreads.com) renewed my love of the newspaper comic strip. It is a hilarious takedown of the medium’s conventions.
Burn Notice once again! Last week was not the best episode in the series, but this week is the 2-hour season finale, and it could be the best two hours of the entire summer season.
My suggestion is this video of Nate from last year’s Beauty and the Geek singing about Beards and Mustaches. It rules.

BBC4’s “IT Crowd.” This sitcom about the random exploits of three workers of a IT department in a big, faceless corporation is silly, funny and smart.
The new Prince Caspian poster: http://www.cinematical.com/2007/09/17/exclusive-the-chronicles-of-narnia-prince-caspian-official-o/. I’ve never been so excited over a poster before. May 2008 never seemed so far away.
Josh Ritter’s new album, The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter is pure bliss. It’s gorgeous, thoughtful, and lingers happily in my head all day.
The Luke and Noah gay storyline on As the World Turns. It’s well-written, well-acted, and important, three things that soaps aren’t normally known for. It’s also honest and real, two more things soaps aren’t normally known for. Or you could just single out Van Hansis for a superb performance as the above-mentioned Luke or even mention Luke and Noah’s story as presented on YouTube (which is absolutely addictive) at http://www.youtube.com/user/LukeVanFan.
1. Katherine Heigl – With Grey’s Anatomy’s Season Premiere and Knocked Out coming out on DVD in the same week, she reminds us why she earned every bit of that Emmy.
2. Death Proof on DVD – Now restored with the lost reel, Tarentino’s homage to Grindhouse cinema is complete (with a real KICK butt ending!)
3.Across The Universe – Ignore the reviews and allow yourself to get swept away by Julie Taymor & music of The Beatles (Koo Koo Ka Choo)
Season Finale of The Pick-Up Artist: Who will be more transformed from a shy, sweet boy into a ladies’ man – Brady or Kosmo?
http://www.cuteoverload.com is required viewing for anytime I want to feel warm and fuzzy.
Dr. Who…this last weeks epsiode was scary, brilliant, and there is no way an American show would ever take such chances!
also, Torchwood, even if the lovely and talented Indira Varma is not in it past the first episode
1. Prison Break is back on…YES!!!
2. My December – Kelly Clarkson…would you people just go buy it and take my word for it?? It spans many genres and does it well. That girl can sing ANYTHING.
3. The Evolution of Robin Thicke…he’s going to clobber the Grammy’s mark my words.
1)Friday Night Lights on DVD. I know, I know, EW has plugged FNL forever. But, I finally got the hint and can’t stop telling everyone I know about the most wonderfully accurate depiction of life in a small Southern town.
2)Stars, “In the Bedroom After the War.” A great indie pop album that gets better upon each listen.
3) Pilots popping up online before broadcast! Seriously, what better way to plan my DVR season passes and complement EW’s Fall TV preview than watching the pilots early and deciding what’s worth the hype.
Torchwood–Oh so naughty, and Oh such naughty fun. Who knew Dr. Who Spinoff could be so ‘licious. BBCA, Saturdays 9ET
01) “Heroes” (NBC) is back on Monday! Hiro is my hero!
02) Eddie Vedder’s “Into the Wild” soundtrack is helping soothe my soul
03) “BioShock” for XBox360 is the single most immersive fictional experience I’ve had this side of a novel
I must share the hilarity of “Frisky Dingo.” (I have no one to joke about it with; my Lamont the Penguin jokes bounce off right my co-workers.)
Man there’s some great suggestions this week and I agree with all of them. Here’s my three suggestions:
1. Katharine Heigl–in honor of her Emmy win on Sunday and Grey’s Anatomy Season 3 recently out on DVD as well as Season 4’s premiere on the 9/27.
2. Kelly Clarkson’s My December–seriously the most underrated album to emerge this summer. It does indeed contain some potential smash hits and is quickly becoming my favorite album ever.
3. Tyra v. Britney video on Youtube–In light of Britney’s VMA fiasco, this video cracks me up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylPqlrBoyRY
Death Proof on DVD – criminally overlooked pic by Tarantino, now there’s no reason to miss it.
– The Soup on E!
– Family Guy Volume 5 on DVD
– Those Skittles Commercials. Y’know, with the singing bunny and the everything-I-touch-turns-to-Skittles guy?
1. Simian Mobile Disco – Attack Decay Sustain Release: one of the best electronic/dance records of the year (and their live show is even better!)
2. Jens Lekman – Night Falls Over Kortedala: Number one in Sweden, and deserves to be number one here (once it is released). The most funny, sarcastic, heartfelt, and beautiful album of the year.
3. Pilot for Chuck (On Demand, thanks to Comcast and NBC): made me even more excited for this show (and for Yvonne Strzechowski)
The Kingdom. great director, great cast. For once the trailer doesn’t lie, the last 30 minutes are in-sane.
My must list
1. Dr Phil – no one disperses tough love better.
2. Rock of Love – cheesy 80’s perfection.
3. The “fued” between 50 cent & Kanye West – two egos battling out for the good of hip hop.
4. Pop Watch Blog — all day, every day.
