I think these commercials are stupid.
Not funny, just creepy.
Not funny – but EXTREMELY annoying. Rates right up there with Pepsi’s “brown and bubbly” campaign from last year’s Superbowl.

WHile watching the ad, a buddy of mine and I agreed that it’s a darned shame someone got paid a lot of money to think up the Berries and Cream guy. Annoying, but I’ve got this odd desire to eat those Orange and cream starburts…Darn you to heck berries and cream man!

The one and only funny Starburst commercial is the one that plays off of Lionel Richie’s “Hello” music video. I nearly died laughing at that one..

I saw the singing bunny commercial and the only thing that was funny in a sadistic sense, was when the rabbit bit the poor shlub.

Every company now is trying to create viral videos to sell their product… this one misses by a mile… it’s like a bunch of balding middle aged men got together and thought “what would the kids like to see on that there internet?”
as a both a consumer and a marketing professional, I’m stumped. The commercial with the 2 guys makes NO sense unless you’ve seen the first piece. The “little lad” is creepy and would make me not want to buy the product for fear that freak would jump out and do a little dance.
Starburst needs to either rein back in the creative guys or find another agency. I am shocked this got approved.

perhaps i was watching a different commercial (or perhaps my taste is not as refined as folks who leave snarky comments on message boards)from the rest of you, but i enjoyed this very much. i also enjoyed the instructional video. far be it from me to suppose, but the rest of you strike me as a pack of joyless frumps. you have my pity.
As somone thats makes commercials for a living, I’ve got to imagine the people behind these attrocities have been fired by now.
