Sundance Diary: If we'd known Tara Reid was a genius...

Okay! Things are really hopping here at the EW house! Tara Reid is here, Zooey Deschanel just left, we’re all on pins and needles awaiting the arrival of Antonio Banderas, and EW’s Missy Schwartz just referred to Hounddog as "Snakes on a 12-Year-Old." I’m telling you: life is good. So is this bloody mary I’m drinking.

Wait! Tara Reid: wanna blog?

"HI its Tara Reid and i’m in Sundance its freezing here but alot of fun and alot of work my movie premieres tonight and i’m really excited."

Thanks, Tara! (She’s in If I Had Known I Was a Genius. Look for it!)

    Go figure–Tara Reid’s a horrible typer.

How can you be “in” Sundance? Shouldn’t it be I’m at Sundance?
LOL, just kidding Tara, sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 times just to correctly spell my own messages!

    I shouldn’t. I really shouldn’t. But I will.
“A lot” is two words. Really. I swear.
    That’s all.

I’m no Tara Reid apologist, but are you people seriously making fun of her typing? Do YOU guys write perfectly all the time? I mean, I write for a newspaper, but when I’m at home or whatever, I’m known to mix in a “wanna” or “gonna” or even an “alot” and, God forbid, not capitalize an “i’m”. Besides…EVERYONE knows that the biggest mistake in her post was the classic “its/it’s” mishap that some people just can never get. ;)

Another pet peeve? It is “it’s” as in it is freezing here. “It’s freezing here.” NOT “its freezing here.” Ok maybe she was in a rush but this is elementary grammar people!

I’m sorry…I just saw Tara Reid and genius in the same sentence……
