For those of you still resisting the charm of this show, let me reiterate, Men in Trees does not, in fact, suck. But I am willing to admit the following. In recent weeks, Jack (James Tupper), the main love interest for Marin (Anne Heche), has been upstaged by two more charismatic fellows: Marin’s New York publisher Stuart (Jason O’Mara, pictured with Heche), who seriously needs to fly into Elmo All.The.Time., and Plow Guy (Ty Olsson), who really should keep boinking Marin’s agent, Jane (Seana Kofoed).
Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, I’m all about Stuart at the moment. And this Irish actor Jason O’Mara, who I’ve seen before in…absolutely nothing. We’re about to begin the Google-phase of our relationship, he and I. Anyone else wanna fight me for him?

He was Fergal on Monarch of the Glen! My grandma used to watch it on PBS. He was way less handsome because he had really bad hair.
I love him! He was on that show last year called In Justice, with Orson from Desparate Housewives. I was waiting for him to show up on another show.
Still not going to watch it, but I hope for your sake it doesn’t get canceled like “Wonderfalls” or “Andy Richter Controls the Universe.”
I’ve watched the show from the beginning because of Anne Heche, and kept watching because of the great cast and location. It’s also refreshing that it’s not a cop or doctor show! This plus Grey’s is my girlie fix of the week.
It’s a great show and I don’t know what everyone’s problem is with it. And this guy is HOT so I’ll fight you for him. In fact, knowing now that he has an Irish accent makes him even hhhhoooottttttteeerrrr…

I used to watch him in “The Agency”. I loved that show and was really choked when it was cancelled.

This really is an enjoyable show. It’s good to see Abraham Benrubi with more of a part than he had on “ER,” that’s for sure!
My only disappointment is that this show is starting to follow the traditional Hollywood pattern–we know Jack and Marin belong together, they know it, but others get in the way. Time to leave Elmo, Justine Bateman!!
The Office and Men In Trees make my Thursday nights! It’s such a nice relief to watch something sweet and spicy. I actually like the Justine Bateman arc but it’s pretty predictable.
I’m for Jack all the way.
Jason O’Mara also played a seriously evil but oh-so-yummy psychopath on an episode of The Closer. That man can do no wrong.
I have a confession to make…The only reason I tuned back into Men in Trees was because of Plow Guy. After getting over the initial hotness that is he, the show turned out to be pretty enjoyable.
I have been pushing this show with my friends based not only on the terrific story lines, acting and scenery BUT also on the number of hot men. WOW! eye candy overdose. Plowguy and Stuart are the hottest and good actors. does it get any better?
It’s aggravating that Men in Trees isn’t doing better in the ratings. I personally think it’s a far better series than “Grey’s Anatomy”.

I’ve been a fan of Jason for a while, I hope this leads to a regular stint, or a separate, successful series. Him and Owain from “The Nine” would make great brothers, yumm
I’ve been a fan of Jason’s since he was on The Agency he came on in the 2nd season and played Stiles, and was involved on the show with Terri played by Paige Turco. They got married after the show ended and have a son. Last year Jason was in a mid-season show In Justice. He has a talent holding deal with Touchstone and ABC for him to headline in a new series for next season. I can’t wait to see more of him. I only started watching MIT when he was going to be on.
I love this show, but as an Alaskan, I am constantly having to consciously turn aside annoyance at how inaccurate they are at portraying my state…
I thought he was really cute too, and while I am rooting for Jack and Marin in the long run, it was nice to see Marin with a cutie if Jack is going to go backk to Lynn for now. Which, on a related note, surprises me that I actually like Justine’s character quite a bit, I enjoy that they are not playing her as the typical bitchy ex-girlfriend.
It just shows you good acting and actors will always work! Last season ABC had an EXCELLENT show called “In Justice” but it got little love on Friday nights at 8pm(ct),but it’s cast goes on in “Desperate Housewives,24,Boston Legal,Men in Trees” I loved that show! Jason is a fine actor who is more know for whom he is with than the work,a shame!
This is a real good show, I started watching it because Anne Heche looked really good in the promos and it’s a really good show, granted it’s from a woman’s point of view but still anybody can find something they can relate to! And no matter what people say Anne Heche is really good in this show and she is a beautiful woman!!!

Hi – I’ve watched Jason since he joined “The Agency” and I think he is a marvelous actor! I’ve just started watching “Men In Trees” since Jason joined the cast so I can keep up with the plot and know what’s happening when he is on. I too would love to see more of him – but, I’m actually hoping for his own series where he is the main focus

I’ve watched this show from Day 1 and I absolutely cannot miss an episode. All the characters are so likeable, even when they’re screwing things up for others. I actually have never really bought the “Jack and Marin are meant for each other” plotline but it’s fun to watch them fumble around each other.
I have loved the show since the first comercialI am very disapointed in Jack last week! and so are a few people we dont feel he made a good choice with Lynn How much history do you have to have to know your being used Poor Marin what a great show till last week I turned it off I was so disapointed! and I loved it esp on fri night! thursday is late for such a cute show…till the plot went sour! sorry…..
Love the music from the show. Tonites episode was the best when they played Playing The Game. It went perfectly with the scene. Downloaded it on itunes. I actually wished they used another AM song Losing You. That is my vote for the next episode

I miss MiT. Can’t wait for next Thursday. It’s refreshing and almost Oh So Real. Celia’s character has a little edge to it. Almost cold but can come through with warmth. Is Reba (MacIn) Hart related to her? They could be cousins? sisters? Love the show and my week is complete the Thursdays that your on.
