About friggin’ time. Now maybe she can get her career and life back on track. Stay strong, Whitney!
My first reaction was a disbelieving “Hell To The No!!”.
After that I couldn’t help but think “It’s about g***amn time!!! I’m sure many will agree.
OMG.
Slezak, a mourning public anxiously awaits the kind of poetic eulogy only you could provide.
How about a reality series highlighting the divorce proceedings, custody hearings, and eventual move out of Bobby Brown?…..To be followed a few months later by another reality series about Bobby Brown’s return to dating.
Oh my god! Finally! I kind of think she’s been ruined by now, though.
She is not doing this with him today, or any other day, or so it seems. I can see her coming back from this big…at least a big hit single along the lines of “I Will Survive”…you go, girl!
I shouted hell yeah! Whitney, girl he was a loser from the start, a druggie, and an arrogant son of a… .
I am not a fan of her music but am happy that she can finally put the pieces of her life back together and start fresh!
Hallelujah- maybe this woman get her career back and be a better example to Bobbi Christina.
Haven’t they broken up a few dozen times before?
Guess it’s Whitney’s perogative.
hell to the yeah!
Maybe she read the Popwatch blog from last week about what she needs for her comeback??
“How Will I Know” that “Every Little Step” along the way Whitney tried to “Love That Man” but it turns Bobby wasn’t her “Greatest Love of All”. “Its Not Right, But Its Okay” that Miss Houston finally realized “Why Does It Hurt So Bad”. Hopefully she won’t become “So Emotional” “All At Once” but just realized she should have “Learned From the Best” and saw Bobby for the “Humping Around” two timing hubby he was!”Step by Step” Whitney will come to eventualy say that he wasn’t “All The Man That I Need” and that “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, not smoke the crack pipe with them!!! “I Will ALways Love You” Whitney! You’ll be “Fine”, but right now, enjoy your time in the “Heartbreak Hotel”. “My Love Is Your Love”, so if you need a shoulder to cry on, shoot me an e-mail!!
Phil and Elizabeth, your posts were off the chain! As for the rest of the comments, I Wanna Rooooock with’cha bebe, all night long, I wanna roooolll witcha bebe, feeling soooo strong!
I am feeling like this is probably a good move for Whitney. “Being Bobby Brown” demonstrated to me that they don’t work together well as a couple, and that my main man had no trouble trying to milk her fame to stretch out his 15 minutes a little more. Half the time Bobby ran into people on the street, they’d ask him if he was Puff Daddy. But Whitney had to wear disguises to hide who she was. Bad relationships can lead to drug abuse, and I think they were both needing out.
Here’s my open message to Bobby Brown. Why haven’t you become a producer yet, dude? Wasn’t your last “hit” (that was NOT off a joint or cigarette) in 1994? Dude, it’s time to make like Yankee P. Diddy and get attached to some new talent.
As for Whitney, she has a real chance to reboot her entire life and career. I hope she exploits it for everything it’s worth and becomes the superstar diva she was in the late 80′s/early 90′s. Drugs, a poorly chosen husband and the resultant bad publicity have detracted from her amazing voice.
Finally Whitney, Finally! I have been waiting for this for years. Not b/c I am some cynic that wants love to fail, but b/c it has always been obvious to everyone how much this man was a user of you. It’s time to reclaim your title of Pop Queen and to get the life you deserve. Hell to the YES!
I’ma go with the consensus here and say “Took her long enough!” Too bad its about 7 years too late.
