So I went to iTunes last night and checked this cd out – it’s actually pretty good. I bought Eliotts and Paris’ songs and made myself a “Slezak” mix – Elliott, Paris and then Jodi Watley doing “Boderline” (thanks for the heads up Michael!!!). I think Elliott’s song is the best on the cd and I think he sounds SO AMAZING. I also love Paris and “Midnite Train..” I think it’s a great song for her and I like that they made it sound pretty fresh for an older song.

There will be a riot if Taylor Hicks does not win tonight.
What I really want is a CD and/or video of ALL the songs performed by Elliott during the competition. I especially enjoyed his knock-out back-to-back performance of If I Can Dream and Trouble. Those songs alone should have been enough to win him first place in the competition in my opinion.

kat should NOT have done “think”, and i can definitely tell they thought chris would win. last year’s CD, only carrie’s song sounded professional and it was first on the CD. it also came out i think with 3 weeks left. that wasn’t obvious!!! anyway, quickly, melissa AGAIN wuz robbed, bucky, blech!!, lisa, not good, KEVIN!!! what the heck is going on there? trash!! kellie and ace, so-so. mandisa was lost in the song. for taylor, i HATE the song “takin’ it to the streets”, but he did good. my two faves? paris! (Now SHE gets the exclamation point slezak) and elliott, my personal top 2. elliott hit all the runs perfectly in the song, and paris! who was always my favorite did “train” justice. here’s to success for those who REALLY deserve it, whoever that ends up being

I think Encore CD was one of the best. Elliot needs to find a band to back him, he is really good! Ace Young is just wonderful. I love it when he says:”I will be your preacher teacher.” He is so Sexy! That little Kevin is smooth too. Chris is a good singer with passion, he just needs to lose some of the badtitude. I still do not like Katharine. Taylor has much soul! The rest are okay.
