Bad enough all of us Bachelor fans had to struggle last month to differentiate egg-rotting radiologist Allie G. from outrageous fictional TV personality Ali G., but now there’s the trouble with actor Sacha Baron Cohen (coincidentally or not, the man who portrays Ali G.) and U.S. champion figure skater Sasha Cohen. How the heck is a casual TV fan supposed to tell these two apart? Fear not, the PopWatch primer will get you through:

I am SO glad to know I’m not alone in my confusion. Not knowing or caring anything about figure skating (I know, I know …), I wondered why I kept hearing my beloved Borat’s name everywhere lately. I thought, “Did he and Isla Fisher break up? Marry? Harm more paparazzi?”

Is that Virginia rodeo thing on the net anywhere? I’d like to see that, I love Borat, he single handedly ruined the political career of that nut in Mississippi when he got him to admit his true feelings about Jewish people on camera. The public owes him a debt of gratitude for that alone.
I would give anything to have Ali G or Borat do commentary on the Olympics, now if NBC did that, they just might get some ratings…..
