Watch 'Arrested' and 'Kitchen' tonight -- while you still can!

You’re watching Arrested Development and Kitchen Confidential tonight, right? Right? (Yeah, they’re both back on the Fox schedule — offer good while supplies last.)

While I’ve given up hope that some last-minute audience surge is going to save these gems from going the way of the McRib, that doesn’t mean I won’t be giving a proper sendoff to my favorite Bluths (Lucille, Gob, and Buster) — or to the Kitchen characters I wish I’d gotten to know a little better.

How about you?

Actually, I’d like to take a moment to dis all the folks who haven’t been watching Arrested Development. Here goes:
Dude, What the hell is wrong with you people? Arrested Development was the funniest show since Chappelle’s high-larious season 2. Where do you go on Monday nights that you are so busy? Well, I’ve got sour grapes about losing my favorite show, so phooey on anyone who missed the show. COME ON!

Rita’s plastic surgery CRACKED ME UP.

I am going to miss “Arrested” so much once it is gone. I believe it is a true shame that people do not realize what they are missing. It will always be a mystery to me why people didn’t watch this show, it deserves so much more.
I loved Rita’s picture from a year ago. Charlize Theron did an excellent job and I’m a bit sad to see her go, though she might as well, since the MRF thing would probably get old sooner or later. Thanks anyway. FOX should have advertised her appearance more than they did. Heck, FOX should have advertised the show a lot more than they did in the entire run so far. But I digress…

I’m watching Kitchen Confidential right now. I thought I was the only person who was watching that show but I’m glad I’m not. It seemed that KC doesn’t have an audience.
I love Arrested Development. Can some network please pick up this show?!!!!

  • Shizzle

i have heard rumblings that Arrested Development is being shopped around to other networks. Just the idea that other networks are interested means there is still hope!

K.C. is such a good show. Watched the “missing ep” on myspace.com like 4 times. I will be missing B. Cooper and his crew–they’re awesome together. And the writing is good, and Michael Vartan….hold me.

I watched Arrested last night.. and I had to pause it I was laughing so hard.. I literally couldn’t breathe. The part showing Ms. Theron eating the plastic fruit was hilarious… it is really too bad more people don’t watch this show..

Unfair comparison to the McRib… at least they bring it back every now and then. Is it just me or was this week the first time FOX has even advertised that Theron was going to be on? AD is great, KC had potential. And I’d just like to point out that FOX is the same network that kept HERMAN’S HEAD — starring William Ragsdale — on for (wait for it) 72 episodes.

  • Howard

They are waiting on my VCR ’til I get home. Thank G-d that they are at least keeping “War at Home”. I’d hate to think that losing AD and KC would mean that we lost that unique, innovative, scintillating show.

  • Arrested Fan!

I LOVE arrested but must say, I really did not like Charlize Theron’s stint. I think she single handedly killed the show’s chances. Other guest stars have been a great addition but her storyline had me wanting something more (and far less gratingly annoying). I hope the last remaining episodes will pick up since they might be the last, although if there are any powers above, this show will continue – if not on FOX then somewhere else!

Fox couldn’t turn one of the most critically acclaimed comedies of the last decade or an admired, sexy and unique comedy from Darren Star into hits. Worst network out there, no question.

  • Jonny B

I never liked AD, so I can’t say that I’m all that sad to see it go. I was really liking KC, though. Oh well…At least I’ve still got my McDreamy.

  • Gus

Michael’s half hearted “come-on” when he saw the phone bill- George Sr’s throwaway line watching E “that Blosom really blew up”, the return of one of my favortie lines “the mere fact that you call it that means you’re not ready”, Tobias screaming “why am I not going under water!” it’s all so funny, and I’ll miss it so much.
