Foiled by 50 Cent! Bull's-eye Results: Round 4

And now, the astounding results in the fourth round of our Box Office Bull’s-eyeprediction game. We have — oops! — no winner, yet again. Now wait aminute. Let’s look at what’s happeninghere. On the plus side, many of you correctly predicted the top three flicks atthe Nov. 11 weekend box office (ChickenLittle, followed by the fantasy Zathuraand Jennifer Aniston’s thriller Derailed.) But where, oh where is the super-genius whowill give us all the right answers, grab that $50 gift certificate, and allowme to gush with joy as I report next week’s results?

If I didn’t know better, I’d say 50 Cent is determined to bethe only one who gets rich or dies tryin’. Not one of this week’s 12 top players correctly predicted that therapper-actor would sell 251,000-350,000 copies of his new album during itsfirst week. Meanwhile, voters faced another fatal challenge when it came to guessingthe exact earnings for Chicken Little.Among the 12 top players, John Shavermade the highest estimate ($28 million), but he still fell short of the actualtake: $31.7 million. Man, that’s one richchicken.
