It’s time for Bad Religion, the granddaddies of punk, to pass the baton — to Bayside. Bow at the altar of "Devotion and Desire," the latest single from the Long Island punkers’ self-titled album, and see for yourself. While BR are an obvious influence, the Bayside boys are actually making punk fun again — check out the high-energy, addictive chorus ("How could I know that everything you say are lies about devotion and desire?"). Still aren’t a believer? Watch the video, which is kind of like Nirvana’s "Smells Like Teen Spirit" — except with nuns instead of cheerleaders. Intrigued?
