Courtney Love: I took drugs

16951__love_l Comedy Central’s publicist chortled that Courtney Love had been ”acting like Tom Cruise on acid” during last week’s Pamela Anderson roast, but apparently it was no joke. Despite her protestations on the red carpet that she was ”clean and sober,” a teary Love admitted Friday in court that she’d violated her probation terms and was ordered into treatment for abuse of an unspecified drug. Let’s just hope that Love gets back on the wagon for good, and that this trend doesn’t come in threes. Two pop stars checking into rehab in one day is plenty, thank you.

Note to Courtney Love and Rafael Palmiero: If you are going to get tested anyway, it’s probably best to just admit to things ahead of time rather than deny until it blows up in your face. What’s up with these celebs lying through their teeth only to get called out for it later?
At least Eminem was always open about his drug use…
