Everything Hugh Jackman looks like now

Hugh Jackman looks crazy.

The actor is currently playing Blackbeard in next year’s Peter Pan prequel Pan. Yup—everything in that last sentence proves that we’re living in the hilarious dystopia our greatest science-fiction writers warned us about. But don’t despair, because Jackman isn’t just playing Blackbeard: He’s also rocking a very distinctive Blackbeard look–bald head, elaborate beard–and he’s rocking it in public, mostly in the stands at Wimbledon. Here’s everything Hugh Jackman looks like now: READ FULL STORY

Marvel is killing off a major character -- EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK!

It’s been almost 40 years since Wolverine’s first appearance on the very last page of The Incredible Hulk #180. In comic book time, of course, Wolverine is much older: Over a hundred years old, a century-plus lifespan that has seen the man called Logan become a soldier, a samurai, a superhero, an X-Man, an Avenger, the amnesiac victim of horrific scientific experiments, a renegade, a teacher.

This September, that’s going to end. READ FULL STORY

Hugh Jackman brings 'Wolverine: The Musical' to life, if only briefly -- VIDEO

WOLVERINE-MUSICAL-JACKMAN.jpg

This was bound to happen.

It was only a matter of time before Hugh Jackman’s singing chops were melded into his iconic Marvel character like some kind of adamantium side-effect hidden talent. Courtesy of BBC Radio 1’s The Matt Edmondson Show, we now have Wolverine: The Musical.

Evidently, Jackman stopped by the show on Saturday to promote X-Men: Days of Future Past. Ever the pro, he played along when the hosts handed him a lyric sheet for the fictitious (at least for now) superhero musical and cued up Jackman’s Les Misérables track, “Who Am I?”

“Who am I?” the 45-year-old sings, laughing as he glances at the words. “Am I a superhero with some claws? Or just an actor searching for applause?” READ FULL STORY

Comic-Con: Wolverine + bunny cuteness? Some wounds don't heal

“You had to be there.” A droll expression in most settings but not at Comic-Con International  where good things (namely “exclusives,” the one-time-only collectibles sold at the pop culture expo) come to those who wait in lines that seem to stretch to the Orange County line. Here’s a first look at some of this year’s San Diego exclusives…

Why look it’s…um, it’s a Wolverine…bunny-like…item?

'The Wolverine' trailer: A Deep Dive

WOLVERINE-DEEP-DIVE.jpg

Considering that it’s a spinoff-sequel of one of the biggest superhero franchises in Hollywood, The Wolverine has always been a movie shrouded in mystery. Everyone involved in the project has always implicitly indicated that the movie would more or less ignore the miserable (and miserably successful) X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and it’s common knowledge that the film is loosely based on the 1982 Chris Claremont/Frank Miller Wolverine miniseries. But today, the first official full trailer for The Wolverine finally hit the internet…and just for good measure, the studio also released a much longer international trailer. Let’s dive in and take a look, shall we? READ FULL STORY

'Gangnam Style' meets Wolverine

Korean pop dandy PSY and Broadway muscleman Hugh Jackman met up this week in Sydney, where Jackman is currently filming the decolonized sequel The Wolverine. PSY wore his trademark fop jacket; Jackman wore pajama pants and a black collared shirt and the general aura of a man who just woke up two seconds ago and still looks better than you ever will, so stop trying. Jackman loaned PSY a couple sets of adamantium claws, and they danced together. Experts are theorizing that this is the single most impressive team-up of a musical phenomenon and a superhero since that time Milli Vanilli hung out with Super Mario. Watch video of this historic pairing below: READ FULL STORY
