Kristen Stewart talks to Jay Leno about 'Breaking Dawn' twist ending -- VIDEO

While her sometimes-boyfriend and full-time-costar Robert Pattinson was busy chatting up Jimmy Kimmel, Stewart stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to discuss Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2.

The actress — whose awkwardness during public appearances is well-documented — seemed particularly nervous for this chat, although she shouldn’t have been. The in-studio audience was supportive, cheering for her whether she discussed fans in Tokyo or the story behind her new fragrance.

In the more entertaining second segment, Stewart dished on vampires. When Leno asked her to set up Breaking Dawn — Part 2, she explained, “Popped one out, pretty concerned with that. Me and Edward are doing quite well, people keep trying to kill my baby. But I’m now super spectacular so I can take care of that, being a vampire.” READ FULL STORY »

Stephenie Meyer says more 'Twilight' books a possibility, but not today

Just when you thought it was over, it’s not!

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer refused to commit to the rumor that she may write additional volumes of her already elaborate teen vampire saga at a press conference for the final film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. She did say, however, the idea of more blood, sex and tears in future books wasn’t impossible either.

In fact, she admitted to having already thought through the entire story. “I planned out where it would go for a couple more books,” she said. “So, I knew exactly what would happen,” of the storyline that involves Jake, played by Taylor Lautner in the films, and Renesmee, played by Mackenzie Foy, following the end of Breaking Dawn.

'Twilight' is over! The cast shares memories, regrets and weird fan encounters

“I don’t have to walk away,” actress Kristen Stewart told a room full of reporters at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills during her final American press conference for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

Yep, the phenomenon that you couldn’t get enough of (or get away from, whichever your feeling on Twilight), is coming to screeching halt with the release of the final movie November 16.

Is Stewart glad it’s all finally over? The 22-year-old actress who essentially grew up on the set of Twilight movies, (the first one was filmed in 2008 when she was just 17), is relieved. “I am so happy that the story is told, you have no idea,” she said. “The fact that this thing is out and not weighing on us anymore, super excited about that.”

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner's first 'Breaking Dawn' interview together -- VIDEO

Awkwardness or no awkwardness, the Twilight trio have a movie to promote, and last night Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner made their first joint appearance since The Event last summer on MTV First.

I’m no body language expert, but I’ve studied my fair share of tabloids, and I would say that the interview was just as goofy and awkward as appearances by the trio normally are. Pattinson and Stewart joked around with each other — and, because I know you’re wondering, both joked around with Lautner too. Poor Lautner. Stuck in the middle of it all.

The chat was strictly about Twilight, with the only real mention of their lives outside the phenomenon being when Pattinson and Stewart were asked about their Halloween costumes. Stewart went as Natalie Portman’s character from the film Closer, saying that she “loved that movie.” (I can’t imagine why…) Pattinson, next to her in photos that were shown, wore “a three-dollar mask from 7/11.”

Beyond that, it was full steam ahead on promoting Breaking Dawn. They talked about looking forward to Breaking Dawn: Part 2 and also reminisced on first auditions, catching up with special guest Stephenie Meyer and whether or not they’ve got another MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss in the bag. (Spoiler alert: Yes.)

Other tidbits that were revealed in the 30-minute interview (which you can watch in full on MTV.com)? Read on. READ FULL STORY »

PopWatch Confessional: Your most desperate cabin fever amusements

Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone? That’s exactly what happened when Hurricane Sandy struck the east coast this Monday, depriving millions of power — and severely limiting their entertainment options. (Of course, boredom is nothing compared with a destroyed house or a submerged car — visit RedCross.org to learn more about hurricane relief efforts.)

My hurricane boredom story: After Lower Manhattan’s power went out on Monday night, I devoured a YA book about a girl whose mom is a hoarder. Then, haunted by visions of yellowing newspapers stacked on top of piles of maggots — seriously, that book is visceral — I spent Tuesday furiously cleaning my apartment with my roommate. The last time I devoted this many hours to scrubbing was… last year, when Hurricane Irene hit the East Coast. Doesn’t Hurricane Cleaners sound like an upcoming reality show?

Of course, I wasn’t the only one driven to desperation after losing electricity (and heat, and my cell phone service). Read on to find out how EW staffers weathered the storm — and feel free to add your own story in the comments! Don’t worry if it has nothing to do with a hurricane; any extreme weather, power outage, or debilitating sickness that left you cooped up will do fine. READ FULL STORY »

Robsten lives! Pattinson and Stewart spotted leaving Prince concert together -- PHOTO

Don’t mind that faint squealing noise you’re hearing — it’s simply the sound of a zillion Twihards discovering that Robert Pattinson’s baseball cap and Kristen Stewart’s right hand have been spotted together once more.

The Twilight Saga stars reportedly reunited a few weeks ago, or possibly much earlier; on Oct. 15, grainy photos of RPattz and KStew cozying up to each other at a bar hit the Internet. This picture — taken as the pair left Prince’s show at Hollywood’s Sayers Club Thursday night — is further evidence that Pattinson has elected not to take Donald Trump’s advice.

When asked for comment, EW Twilightologist Denise Warner gasped, then quickly typed “ASDL;FKJASDFAS;LDKFJ.”

It’s nearly November and you know what that means. No, not Thanksgiving, you cretin. It’s almost time for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2! Of course, the walk-up to this year’s Twilight is much more interesting than what we’ve seen in previous years. For one, it’s the final film. Two, Bella’s a vampire now. Three, there’s a hybrid vampire baby! Hmm. Am I forgetting anything? Ah, yes. The teensy, tiny matter of Kristen Stewart’s affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

For months, we’ve waited with bated breath to see how Stewart and Robert Pattinson would handle the forthcoming media blitz. (We won’t mention that it’s a bit anti-climatic now that they’re back together.) Well, it’s started and (click for dramatic music if you’re so inclined) the general tactic seems to be over-sharing. Earlier this week, Pattinson made an appearance on the Australian program The Kyle and Jackie O Show, where he discussed everything from his sex faces to Kristen Stewart farting (seriously). The interview’s split into two parts, which we’ve included below, but in case you’re feeling lazy, here are the highlights:

1. His favorite Twilight scene reminds him of flatulence: Pattinson revealed that his favorite scene from the movies is when Bella walks by behind Edward in the first film — but not for the reason you might think. “Whenever I see it, I’m just making the most ridiculous facial expressions. I was so serious. It looks like she’s farting as she walks by. It’s terrible.” READ FULL STORY »

Kellan Lutz says he'll win an Oscar someday

kellen-lutz.jpg

From vampire red blood to Oscar’s red carpet?

Kellan Lutz (who plays Edward’s big bro Emmett in the Twilight franchise) recently told DuJour magazine, “I want to act for the rest of my life. I’ll win an Oscar one day, but I’m in no rush to get there. I don’t care if that takes me 50 years, and I’m old. I just love what I do.”

While I think we can all agree Lutz won’t be receiving an Oscar for his body of work in Twilight, who knows what the future will hold? His previous roles (90210, Stick It) haven’t required much of him beyond his good looks, but perhaps the future will showcase the talent buried underneath his pounds of muscle. READ FULL STORY »
