Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's best Golden Globes jokes -- Read them here!

GG-SHOW-FEY-POEHLER

Ricky Gervais may be the one that got all the feigned gasps with his celebrity-ribbing monologues the past couple years, but gal pals and partners in prime-time Tina Fey and Amy Poehler had more than a little bite in their Golden Globes opening. Starting off with a guaranteed-to-be-accurate subject—making fun of the assembled celebrities’ inevitable intoxication, saying “You can smell the pills from here”—they then gave a sarcastic nod to their predecessor before moving on down the list of all the famous faces in the crowd just waiting for someone to cut to them. Here are some of the highlights and check back for their jokes throughout the night:

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler: The BFF duo's 11 best onscreen moments

Can anything get in the way of Lincoln‘s momentum? Could Smash possibly upset the Best TV Show — Comedy or Musical category? Who cares! The real reason to watch the Golden Globes this Sunday is to see three glorious hours of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler doing what they do best: Hanging out together and making us laugh.

Ever since meeting in an improv class nearly 20 years ago — back when Tina “had only recently learned that you can pluck your eyebrows” and Amy got $15 dye jobs that made her hair “the color of white lined paper” — Pohler and Fey have enjoyed a best-friendship that’s the envy of non-Tinas and Amys everywhere. (2012’s Night of Too Many Stars even auctioned off the chance to be the pair’s third BFF for the night; the winner, predictably, had an amazing time.) Naturally, the pair frequently work together onscreen — proving that as funny as they are individually, Amy and Tina are better together.

So here’s a chronological list of their greatest clips — starting with one of SNL‘s best commercial parodies: READ FULL STORY

'30 Rock' cast reminisces on 'Jimmy Fallon' -- VIDEO

Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer, all hanging out with Jimmy Fallon and telling behind-the-scenes stories about 30 Rock? And at some point, every one of them does a Tracy Morgan impression?

I want to go to there.

Last night, the principal cast of the celebrated NBC sitcom — 97 Emmy nominations, nerds! — visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, getting together for the first time since 30 Rock‘s wrap party in December. Their whole 26-minute appearance is worth watching, especially for the backstage tidbits. In the first part of the interview, for example, Jordan — er, Morgan — enthuses about that legendary wrap party, likening it to a Caligula-style orgy and saying that it gave him an opportunity to make out with every member of the show’s cast and crew. (Fallon: “Even with Alec?” Morgan: “Especially with Alec! I’m pregnant right now!”)

'30 Rock': Jack battles his teenage nemesis and Octavia Spencer stops by

The end is nigh, nerds! As a part of her lifelong quest to have it all, Liz started fertility treatments. But of course the hormones from the injections made her extra crazy and forced Lemon to reconsider her options: She could go it the old-fashioned way, wait at least another four years to adopt a newborn, or adopt an older child. (An older kid? Gross!) Ultimately, with some unlikely help from Tracy, she decided that maybe she could handle an older child. So it seems that Liz Lemon might end up with a kid by the season’s end after all.  READ FULL STORY

Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on Angelina Jolie, 'Avatar,' photo bombing -- VIDEO

As if we needed further proof that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the best at everything and should always be talking on our TVs always always. The upcoming hosts of the 70th Annual Golden Globe awards took the time out of their day being witty whilst wearing gorgeous gowns to discuss their impending job, photobombing Harrison Ford, hating everyone, and who they think will win the award for “Best Actress in a mini-musical or major documentary.” (It’s a shocker!) Check it out below: READ FULL STORY

'Kennedy Center Honors': Watch the Buddy Guy tribute that stole the show, President Obama rock out for Led Zeppelin -- VIDEO

The 35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors aired last night (read Ken Tucker’s review here), and it was another ceremony filled with memorable moments. Here are a few of the highlights that have already surfaced on YouTube:

Beth Hart’s performance of “I’d Rather Go Blind” with Jeff Beck for honoree Buddy Guy moved the crowd in the theater (including Barack and Michelle Obama, watch them at 2:32 in the clip below) and at home (I know I went to iTunes and purchased that song off of her album with Joe Bonamassa, Don’t Explain) READ FULL STORY

Saying last night’s episode of SNL fell short of expectations would be the understatement of the year. Martin Short didn’t disappoint, in fact he was my favorite host of the season. His brand of physical comedy and impeccable comedic timing were refreshing, but he didn’t have adequate material to work with. As expected, the episode was star-studded — complete with cameos from other SNL alums and show favorites — but the celebrity guests acted as background props for the most part instead of contributing to skits. However, every time Paul McCartney took the stage, his tender voice wiped  my memory clean of any mediocre jokes that preceded his stellar performance. READ FULL STORY

'30 Rock': One wedding and a funeral

Liz Lemon tied the knot last week proving there’s hope for everyone in this strange world. So will she get pregnant with little Rufus T. Barleysheath before the series finale? Only time will tell. Until then, Lemon can bask in the glory of her 80 Under 80 award. While riding her marriage high, Ms. Elizabeth Lemon — she’s keeping her name — found out she’d been named one of the women in entertainment who aren’t Betty White. She was thrilled with the honor, particularly when she learned the ceremony would be broadcast on Lifetime.com/garbagefile.  READ FULL STORY

'30 Rock' celebrity guest stars: Your favorites?

You know what is quite possibly the opposite of Lizzing? The overwhelming sadness I feel when I realize there are only six episodes of 30 Rock left. And while there is plenty of stuff I’m going to miss — Werewolf Bar Mitzvahs, Reaganing — I think what my Thursday nights will lack the most going forward is quality celebrity guest star appearances. 30 Rock nailed it on that front pretty much every week. One of the great pleasures of the show was the surprise of finding out just who was going to stop by. And with Tina Fey at the helm, essentially no star was too big (even Paul McCartney had a cameo!). I got to thinking about some of my favorites on the program – and there are just so many greats to choose from. Who can forget Liz’s brief involvement with James Franco, or Will Forte as a Jenna impersonator/her one true love?

I cut down from a rather large list to cull five of my favorites (For now! There are sooo many great ones!). Check it out below:

1.    Kelsey Grammer: One of my favorite scenes from the show was when Grammer partnered with Kenneth and Jenna to steal ice cream cake for profit from Carvels. What a windfall! READ FULL STORY
